Amazing food, great service! Anywhere that has shrimp and grits I’ll try them and these did not disappoint! Maybe my favorite shrimp and grits I’ve had, definitely top 2. Drinks were amazing and the dumpling appetizer was amazing as well. Would highly recommend, the best food I’ve found in the Quincy/Hannibal area by far.

From the lunch menu. We had the bread and flavored butters appetizer. If give it a 3 1/2 out of 5. The bread was nice. The honey butter was too subtle for my preferences. The pesto butter was good. I had the chicken wrap which was quite sizable. Grilled chicken had the simple taste of the grill. Whatever sauce was supposed to be on it was either too subtle and light to be noticed or it was absent altogether. I liked it, but I personally prefer bolder favors. The fries were fine, but I had high expectations for hand cut fries and they were good but unremarkable. My son had the flat iron steak which was perfectly cooked, tender and juicy. The flavor, again, was the simple grill flavor. If subtle, simple, classic flavor is your thing, you may enjoy this more than I did. I prefer bolder, interesting, or flavors with flair so while I could appreciate the quality, it just wasn’t my thing. The desserts we had were creme Brule and the brownie sundae, both of which were quite good, the latter being my favorite.

Waitress with the red hair in her 40’s was excellent , was very helpful and timely. She recommended the perfect drink after the one we ordered was just a bit too strong. Food here is sooooo delicious and the atmosphere is soft and cozy but still professional. We found a new favorite place to dine!

Drove into Quincy to see our HS football team play the home team. Needed dinner the night before and stumbled upon this gem. Let me start off by saying the atmosphere was fantastic, it was cozy, warm, and welcoming. The hostess and waitress were both outstanding and recommended house specials. But as you guys already know I went with the old fashion and steak. (No better combo). The old fashion was top-notch and perfect for a summer day and just what I needed after a long drive. The steak was perfectly cooked and paired well with the mashed potatoes. I cannot stress this enough, if you are ever in Quincy this is the place for dinner and cocktails. Don’t waste your time anywhere else.

I’ll tell you what, this is the best restaurant I’ve been to in Quincy Illinois. I came expecting it to be the typical restaurant, well it wasn’t. The food was delicious, the restaurant staff was so kind and made my wife and I feel like family. We celebrated our 15 year anniversary, the owner came to the table and made conversation made us feel like he cared about our experience. Our waitress who’s name was Jenny was the nicest waitress we have ever had in our lives. So to the Dunbelly team thank you and we appreciate the hospitality may God bless you and all you endeavors.

Truly wanted to give this place 5 stars, for the tasty food in this locally, woman-owned restaurant. Really good main dishes, and sandwiches. Everyone in our group really enjoyed the food, but I have to knock off a star for several reasons: desperate renovation needed in the downstairs men’s restroom (perhaps all of them?); the losing of our reservation (which they made right in a scramble) after two separate confirmations. If you can overlook some “missing attention to details”, this place offers a really solid food experience and I would recommend you check it out!

Impressed for the most part – the outdoor seating is beautiful out next to the pond (we had no idea a pond was behind here). Salads were outstanding, but some of the appetizers were less remarkable.

Went to dinner Friday Sept 17th. No wait, seated immediately. Bread and Butter board for appetizer, it was good. Ordered ribeye medium and it came out exactly as ordered. Food was very good, service was not a problem. Entire staff seemed to be very helpful. We would do back.
