This place is horrendous. The worst run coffeshop I’ve ever been to. But we don’t have much options here. Longest wait times in the world. Extremely inexperienced and inefficient staff and the cups seem to always leak so also don’t wear nice clothes. I love dunkin and will likely still have to go here because like I said very few options. But if you don’t have 1/2 hour-45min to wait for your coffe/breakfast than find somewhere else.

I don’t love the food here, but Pat’s Pizza line was out the door. Very friendly staff and fast service.

I’ve never had a bad experience here I’ve only ever gone through the drive thru but they’ve always been friendly and fast, never messed up an order for me yet

Machias dunkin gave me a very good surprise when I realized they had jelly munchkins. I wish calais would bring them back…

I’ve been to fancy restaurants that don’t have a view this amazing. This this Dunkin is located right off the sunrise trail at some sort of inlet for the ocean. It is our first stop in the morning when we leave the hotel to hit the trail.

UPDATE: WE HAVE STOPPED IN HERE A FEW MORE TIMES AND IT SEEMS A BIT BETTER. THEY HAVE CHANGED PEOPLE UP FRONT AND ARE TRYING TO KEEP UP WITH A LOT OF PEOPLE. SEEMS LIKE THEY ARE MORE INTERESTED IN HELPING WITH THE DRIVE THRU. PEOPLE HERE HAVE SN ISSUE MAKING DRINKS. AT ONE VISIT, THERE WERE THREE TIMES THE DRINKS NEEDED BECAUSE THEY WEREN’T TRACKING WHO WAS SUPPOSED TO BE MAKING THEM. BUT DEFINITELY IMPROVEMENT TO BEFORE.

One distinctly memorable time I had at Dunkin’ Donuts in Machias, Maine, was when I had a meeting with a Bangor Daily News writer who was doing a story about me. What a great relaxing place to meet for an interview while sipping coffee and eating a Dunkin’ Donut. Since then, they have expanded their seating area and included nice comfy chairs to sit in, and of course, they still have their traditional tables and chairs for those seeking straight back seating. Dunkin’ Donuts was a nice addition to this small town, and great for people passing through!

Dining area was clean, staff were pleasant, portion sizes were not a good value. I paid a 1.50 for 6 crispy crown potato fries. The quantity is insufficient, it even looked unimpressive in the small bag. Vegetarian options are limited since they discontinued the Impossible meat substitutes. I also had avocado toast which met expectations. The coffee was good.

Today was the first time in about a year I stopped to get donuts. Ordered half dozen filled. This is what I got. Guess this will be another “chain” in Machias I won’t be stopping at again.
