Worst Dunkin ever. Service is awful. Staff has the worst attitude. Inside is dirty. Food is below average. At least they are consistent. Never going back in there. I’ve given them several chances.

To be honest, every time I come here, my hopes are high…only to have those hopes crushed. They ALWAYS make the food incorrectly. Saying they always make it wrong it isn’t even an exaggeration. You’re better off going to the West Main Dunkin, where they can at least put cheese on a bacon egg AND CHEESE sandwich. Also get nicer staff.

As a new resident to Portsmouth, I expect my local Dunkin to be at least somewhat of a decent experience when I stop in. It’s been a nightmare every visit. Today I ordered a tea with steamed milk and was rudely told by a manager that I wasn’t at Starbucks and that I can’t just come up with my own drink. After she handed me my other drink, she continued and asked me if I knew I was at Dunkin and not Starbucks.

Literally the worst experience at a Dunkin or any other food service establishment in my life. After placing my order, I was rudely denied access to the restroom despite being a paying customer. My husband stepped to the side to get a better look at the rolled in paper taped to the door and was again rudely informed by another employee (possibly manager?) walking by that it was NOT a public restroom. No eye contact, no apology. At this point I canceled my order and requested my money back since the purchase had not been completed and I hadn’t received my change. I had to ask several times and finally demand it as they were insisting I would have to wait while they “processed the refund.” I told them they could figure it out on their own time since there was no one else in the store. My $20 bill was then thrown at me. As we turned to leave, one of the employees started yelling rude comments behind our backs which erupted into a shouting match between her and my husband. I am still dumbfounded that this actually happened in real life. No more Dunkin for us.

Update Oct 2022: I gave a rough review about a year ago, but this place has turned around! I’m very happy for them. Looks like management has worked hard n this. The staff is pleasant, works well with each other and orders are accurate. I’m going back regularly!

This Dunkin is in Portsmouth and I have gone there several times. The service is excellent and the donuts are what I remember them being when I was younger- fresh and they have larger variety of donuts. The donuts at Dunkin’s in Bristol taste day old and there’s very little variety. Definitely worth the trip.

I’ve been a DD customer for many years, but this location has gone downhill rapidly, and I’m going to start going to Cumby’s or another DD location. The ownership or management have either made very poor hires in the past few months or have let their new employees down with non-existent training. Fairly sure there are some labor laws being broken too, recently saw a kid that looked literally about 12 years old. Ironically, he gave the best service and trained another employee on how to process my gift card purchase. Here’s what the current customer experience is like: very long wait time, incorrect orders, and lack of basic customer service (i.e. employees talking to each other not acknowledging customers, and complaining about their jobs, etc). In fairness there are a few employees that are friendly and efficient, but most are not.

Sadly this location has went from being my favorite to being a hit or miss. The regular staff always does a great job but a lot of the new staff don’t know how to make things properly. I’m the type that’s like a little bit of coffee with my cream so my coffee should be super light in color. The one I received today was absolutely terrible, I can’t even figure out what the heck went wrong it’s so bad.
