Dumplin’s of Murray has been in business since 1989 at the same location providing excellent food and service to our community. Under new ownership. We have been voted by the City of Murray as the the Best Dessert as well as Favorite Lunch Spot for the past 20 years. Murray State University students have voted us as the favorite place to take your parents for lunch. We offer freshly made daily rolls, breads, homemade sandwiches on our own rolls, variety of salads, daily specials casserole, Quiche, soup and of course best desserts ( pies, cakes and cheesecakes.). We provide Lo-Cal, Vegan and now serving alcohol for your in dinning experience. Open Mon-Sat from 10-4 pm for lunch. Dumplin’s After Dark and Sunday Brunch closed for Summer.

I ordered a cup of Thia Chicken soup and a grilled chicken entree salad. It took 25 minutes to get my order & the place was not busy at all. For an entree salad, it was small and only had 3 pieces of chicken around 2½” long and maybe ¼” wide. It did have about 3 pieces that were about ½” long. I don’t know if they were running a limited menu. But they had 2 vegan dishes, about 5 salads and 3 sandwiches that were either chicken salad or tuna salad. My wife hey there a few months ago and raved about the place. But she also said that they had regular menus. The menu I had was a piece of printed paper under the glass table top. And considering I got a small salad and a cup of soup and my wife got a chicken salad on a bed of lettuce and a cup of soup and our bill came to $50. I think that they were overpriced for small portions.

First off I wanna say the difference between four and five stars was merely the fact that I prefer my sandwich a little more dressed. Having said that it would not stop me from going back here again. The service was great, from the time we walked through the door until the time we left. The food was really good. One of the things we had was the enchilada chicken soup, phenomenal just absolutely amazing. And then the rolls are to die for. They really are great the good thing is is the sandwich comes on the roll so if you don’t get one you will actually get one. The salad is a salad, hard to mess that one up sometimes people do but they did not hear. The atmosphere was great, and I wish I would’ve saved a little room because the sweets look unbelievable. I cannot wait to go back and try it again. all in all it was an excellent place for lunch.

Don’t get me wrong, the bread is good there. So the sandwiches are good. But the $14 cost for a sandwich with one slice of turkey is not worth it.. The menu is misleading. It says the food comes with soup or salad, but on your ticket, it will be an extra $4 dollars. The cake is overrated. Generally, the cakes are dry, and the icing is grainy. The cake is not worth $10 a slice by any means. All in all, it’s not a terrible option for lunch.

We visited a few weeks ago and it was absolutely amazing. I had not been to Dumplin’s since it was located in KY Oaks Mall. That was many many years ago. We will definitely be back! Love the salad and quiche.

Known as the best lunch spot in Murray, KY! The service and food live up to its reputation without fail! Their daily specials are always worth trying, although I especially love their Turkey and Swiss on their homemade rolls with a side salad. It never fails to satisfy my cravings. Don’t get me started on all the wonderful desserts they offer… too many options to speak of! We get cakes here every year for all of the birthdays in our family. Everyone’s favorite is the strawberry cake!

What an enjoyable ambience to enjoy with a friend. I came all the way from California and enjoyed the friendly atmosphere thoroughly. We both had a marvelous quiche and salad, and I loved the Lemoncello dessert! I’ll just have to make a special trip back!
