Charming local BBQ diner we stopped at on our way home to Florida. The buffet looked really delicious but we chose BBQ sandwich baskets since we still had over 3 hours left to drive. The owner was gracious and made sure our grandson had a nice lunch too. Glad we stopped here.

Variety was excellent. Ribs, Chicken and greens. What more can you ask for? Oh yeah, sweet tea and dessert. Great price for buffet! Definitely recommend to everyone. Not fancy, but I love supporting local mom and pop places everywhere I go.

More of a mediocre southern food buffet than a barbecue place to me. Fried chicken was really the only decent tasting thing to eat. Had some dried out and chopped barbecue. Possibly this was due to the time of day we were there or the lack of staffing. Bottom line we were excited to try Carolina barbecue and this was far off the mark.

The last several times I have stopped at this particular Dukes location. There has been some type of issue. At least twice it was during their normal working hours, but they were closed. Love the food typically, but will not go back to this location. Try Walterboro.

We go through the drive through because we get better/fresher fried chicken. It’s not fast, so if you’re in a hurry, you probably want to go in and get your food from the buffet. The fried chicken is some of the best around, to me. Hush puppies are great sometimes, and so so other times. Never was really impressed with the buffet, but maybe I need to try it again. It was never terrible just not 5 star worthy. The 4 stars are really for the drive through chicken .

This all you can eat buffet was good. It’s $11 a person. The restaurant is a little older and certainly has an old time country vibe. The food was good but not amazing. With this place it’s about the quantity you can get for the low price! Come hungry
