Brisket was 7/10, I liked it. Regular sausage was 7.5/10, very flavorful, nice texture. Spicy sausage was 8/10, the flavor was great, I would not classify it as “spicy” since it was quite mild. Sauce was a good sweet sauce. The owner is probably one of the nicest people you will ever meet.

AbsoLUTELy the BEST bar be que in Cleveland! Ribs are excellent and the brisket isn’t too shabby either! I saw Duke at Walmart once and asked him where he was cooking….I saw him loading up some brisket…..he gave me his card and about a week later,I came and got a 2 meat plate and I’ve been stuck like chuck ever since. I have gotten my brother stuck on Dukes food as well. If you’re new to the area,I highly recommend Dukes. If I could have 1 million stars,I would gladly do so!!

I actually walked from the truck stop and was pleasantly surprised!!! Duke and his grandson were absolutely great and the food was more than I expected….I would definitely say give these folks a try….it was worth the walk and the money to me.

Owner seems very nice and I wish him well but honestly the food was not very good at all. Also they only have 2 side choices, just beans and salad. I have never been to a BBQ place that didn’t have multiple choices for sides. Sorry but won’t be back.

Everything we had here was excellent! Good portion sizes, homemade sides, and the seating area/bathrooms were very clean. Service was SO friendly and welcoming. CASH OR CHECK ONLY so be prepared! We will be eating here again for sure!

If you happen to be within 100 miles of Cleveland, Tx and can make it there before 6:30pm, this is the place to go. These men are the shining example of what Texas BBQ is and always should be. This isn’t by far the first time I’ve eaten here so I won’t call it beginners luck either. They are the REAL DEAL.

Food is so delicious and fantastic, I had to force myself to eat only half and save half for later. Hubby ate all his food in one sitting. Duke is very nice and gives generous servings. New building is great and I just found the drive thru which was great because I didn’t have my shoes on. Didn’t take a before picture, this is after I ate half.
