Nice, golf themed restaurant with open air garage sections. Dedicated happy hour and great food. I had a traditional thin crust sausage pizza and it was great. Price point was average in comparison to those in the area. My only real complaint is how many tables were hightop.

Overall not a bad place to enjoy a pint of beer and some food in your stomach. Wait staff was pleasant and quick to take my order. Burger was cooked ok. Had the BBQ burger. Has onion rings, fresh sliced jalapeños and bbq sauce. Honestly, u think they should saute the jalapeños down just a minute. Should also bring wet naps with this burger. The sauce was quite sticky. Got tots with my meal. They could easily serve half as many tots.

1. The pizza is incredible. You like super thin cool they got it, regular thin style – yup they got it, Detroit style.. you guessed they have it. Want it crispy… meaty.. you got it. We love our pizza and this is it for us SO good.

Went in and my sever Ellie was amazing! The food was delicious, especially the carnitas nachos. You could tell the bar manager genuinely cared about how the customers felt. She went to every table at least twice while we were there to make sure everyone felt taken care of and left happy!

My girlfriend and I went there last night and the food was incredible! I got a gluten-free pizza and my girlfriend LOVED the fried pickles. The service was incredible they made you feel at home. Even the bar manager came out and made sure we were enjoying everything. Couldn’t recommend this place enough. It’s a go to spot!

Pretty disappointing experience. Came in for lunch on Saturday, a few other tables there but not busy, plenty of staff. We waited and looked at our drink orders sit at the bar for 10 minutes before they were brought to us. Ordered appetizer 10 minutes before our entrees, but entrees came first. They said the crazy bread appetizer takes a while to make. Then why did you make our entrees first? Asked for no peppers on the steak sandwich, I think they put extra peppers. Menu said 3 tacos for the oder, plate came our with only 2 tacos. The food was actually pretty good and liked the atmosphere, but the experience we had was so awful I don’t think we can go back.

Went for lunch and to watch some sports. Chicken wings were more sauce than chicken. Bartenders looked like they hated their jobs. Never cracked a smile. Certainly didn’t make us feel welcome. Mixed drinks were watered down. Stick with the Lantern.

Coupling indoor golf and a pub is a fun, entertaining, and welcoming concept to Lake Forest. I went to Duffer’s with my daughter for dinner and was pleasantly surprised! The restaurant is quite large, clean and airy. There are big windows that overlook Western Ave, which I believe can open (that will be nice in the summer). I enjoyed a glass of wine, pretzel bites and chopped salad. Beware the pretzel bites are highly addictive! The salad was savory and my daughter enjoyed her burger. It was entertaining watching groups of golfers play and watching sports on the TVs. Duffer’s was busy, definitely the go-to spot in town, and the staff were hustling! The staff are friendly and hardworking. It’s nice to see a local restaurant hiring local students. Duffer’s is an awesome addition to Lake Forest and I look forward to a return visit.

One price fits all apparently. It seems as if everything on the menu is $15.95. So odd that you can get 7 boneless/bone in wings or a variety of buyers with fries or a salad at the same price point. Not a lot of thought goes into the menu.

I love going to Duffer‘s with my family and friends. Duffer’s is such a welcoming place and the staff are friendly. I love how Duffer’s has golf simulators and games to play! My favorite things to order are pretzel bites and wings. The service is good.
