First time at Duck Press for Mother’s Day brunch. Amanda was so sweet & fun! Her attention to detail was impeccable and made our dining experience that more memorable. She recommended the “award winning” brisket Benny and I was blown away at how delicious! We had a parfait type of dessert with cappuccinos and it was a lovely afternoon. Looking forward to coming back for dinner!

We love this restaurant for its little plates and its great cocktails… The service is always excellent the bartenders friendly and knowledgeable. I just love that I can munch my way through dinner with tasty small plates, or order a dinner. Great spot.

This place is out of this world. The food was absolutely to die for. We tried half the menu and everything we ate was absolutely incredible.

This is a new restaurant, only open for 4 weeks now. The food here is delicious!! We started with the thick cut chips, it has a blue cheese sauce with bacon and chili flake. These are a Must Have! I had the clam chowder, WOW. Made to order, thin broth, fresh clams in the shell, potato gnocchi, bacon… again, WOW! My wife had the burger, my sister had the berry beet salad, and I had the fish and chips. Everything was just delicious. We will be back here often and I am going to be sad when it’s so busy we have to wait. I highly recommend that you go soon to beat the crowd that’s going to develop very quickly.

Duck Press is great and we will definitely be back. This was our first visit, after a day at the beach. We loved the place immediately- great vibe, friendly staff. We would have been happy to just sit at the bar for a while, and the cocktails were great. The food was hit or miss. For appetizers, the charcuterie board was one of the best we’ve had recently, with delicious house made pate. The panzanella salad was original in its concept, but sadly didn’t really work (a few tomatoes, mostly stone fruit, and Kalamata olives. The fruit and the olives did not play well together). For entrees, both the lobster risotto special and the vegetarian tagliatelle were meh, but the scallops on top of the risotto were absolutely delicious. Even though the food wasn’t all great, I’d recommend the place without hesitation and look forward to trying some of the other menu items.

Duck Press had been on my list to try for months now and finally had the chance to for Sunday brunch. Overall, it was great! The Bloody Mary was just right with a nice piece of thick cut bacon to garnish. The Smoked Bluefish beignets are a must try! I could eat more of those. The decor and overall vibe was very unique and cute. It’s great to see new restaurants like Duck Press opening in South County. I’m excited to go again and the Sunday dinner special looks great.

Sangria was very tart and ordered bacon wrapped dates for $12 and they bring out 2 dates the size of a queen olive! Waiter also warned me when I ordered the salmon that it is the smallest entree and it was more of an appetizer size. Duck breast and spicy margarita were delicious.

I’m not an easy “A” however everything was excellent. Was it crowded and noisy, yup, but it was a vibrant vibe. Did we wait a long time for our food, yup, but it was excellent and hot. Mind you, this was a water fire, farmer’s market night, so to be expected. We had the smoked bluefish beignets, more akin to a fritter, than beignet, but v good. Roasted cauliflower was excellent as well as the the arancini. The entree’s were the white bolognese pasta(best out of the 3), the curry tuna(really small portion) and the sea bass with massed potatoes (fish was excellent, though I’m not a fan of the combo w mashed potatoes)

We made reservations via Resy about an hour before going for a Saturday night dinner at 6:45. Highly recommend reservations if you want a guaranteed seat. The bar is first come, first served but was completely full when we got there, as were the tables. It was a bit loud, I think due to the tin ceilings, but not unbearable. The AC and fans were running, keeping the place on the cooler side.
