First time trying Banh MI from Duc Huong Sandwiches. The bread is incredible! Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The layers of cold meat can be difficult to chew at first, but with the right amount of determination you can bite your way to the other side. The cilantro also gives the sandwich a unique taste. Two thumbs up for the thick cuts.

Great banh mi sandwiches. I get #14 fish patty. Sandwich is stuffed and bread is soft with a crunchy outer side. #2 seems very popular and the significant other likes #1. There is no dine in, all take out.

Sandwhich was good, and bread was fresh. I got the chicken Bahn mi, but I did not really care for the meat. I’m very picky with my chicken, and this chicken had a lot of fat and skin, which I personally do not like. Next time, I will choose a different meat or the shredded chicken version. Other than that, they have a good ordering system. You wait outside for your order via a small window. Super quick service. I did not see a place to sit, so it’s more of a take-out restaurant.

Ask for garlic bread instead of regular bread. It’s a few cents extra but totally worth it!

First time. Great banh mi. Freshly made to order. Grilled pork banh mi was yum! Combo banh mu was double yum! Definite recommend. Takeout only. Takes credit cards but no Apple Pay. Shared uncovered plaza parking lot.

My co worker brought some banh mi for lunch last week, and it was a hit! So I bought some for my family, and they loved the grilled beef and bbq pork. I like that they accept both card and cash, the wait time tho took a while but it was worth it.

The sandwiches here are good, by skimpy with the meat, if you were a rabbit, this would be fine. One of my favorite Vietnamese sandwiches in San Jose. But too bad they charge you .50 cents to use your debit or credit card if the transaction is under $10 dollars. They have incredible business, lines out the door, most of the time inconvenient wait times. They are almost forcing you to buy more stuff, which is why they loose 3 stars, unfair business practices. Is this even legal? I will definitely be investigating this and taking it to a watchdog. I’d rather go to a place who charges $10 but has a fully filled bread with good amount of meat and vegetables ratio.

Delicious and tasty sandwiches that are the best deal in town. Buy four sandwiches and get one free. The prices of their bánh mì sandwiches are a dollar plus less than most other sandwich places. They are generous with the meat in the sandwiches and the bread is very fresh. Service is fast, but sometimes you have to wait around lunchtime because there’s so many people ordering but it’s worth the wait. I’m a fan!

The shop is easily identified by two lines outside, one to order, and another to pick up. That’s a better clue to the quality/price of the sandwiches you’ll find there than any review. I’ve had 3 different sandwiches, and they were top notch each time. I found the fillings tasty with generous portions, but, for me, the crispy, fluffy baguettes really set the banh mi here apart.
