We went to Dubs Saturday night about 8 pm. The restaurant was clean upon entering. It was our first visit so we were excited. As we approached the counter to try to figure what to order 3 overhead hanging lights made it hard to see the menu because they were so bright. We did not see any pricing on the menu and were told to get pricing we had to get online. That is ridiculous. The food came quickly and was warm and the service was friendly. My brisket came on a Hoagie roll. Not toasted and no creativity whatsoever. The Mac and cheese was just plain. Now I might say the brisket was tasty. Now with All the choices where was the one thing that made you say Wow I want to come back here? For me I didn’t find it.

We came here because we had a starving student card discount and weren’t expecting too much, but my were we surprised! The food was so good! We had a hard time deciding what was our favorite. The service was good, the atmosphere was nice, the table was clean. We for sure plan on coming here again.

On the search for local owner operated restaurants, we found this place. We entered, and the smell of BBQ got us right away. We ordered the brisket sandwich and chicken nuggets that were soft and delicious!

I realize you are a BBQ place, but I have been craving catfish for over a year. I thought my wants would go unfulfilled until a friend told me about you and you had a catfish sandwich. Being from Southern Louisiana, I didn’t have high hopes, but thought I could at least scratch the itch. It was fantastic. Seasoned great and fried just right. The hushpuppies made it even more like home. Those sweet potato tots are out of this world. Can’t wait to have errands in St. George again to get my fix. Totally worth a drive from Cedar City.

Ok so I was told the food here was good so I wanted to check it out. Went there and ordered the 2 meat plate with catfish and spare ribs and dubs style beans and salad and my gf got the chicken sandwich meal/combo with fries. The lady at the counter had a very unprofessional attitude.anyway we ordered and went home. Got home to start eating and my plate lets start with that; I was surprised that an 18$ meal only came with one piece of catfish and a super small side of beans. The catfish was definitely over cooked and tasted like oil. I usually can eat about 10 pieces of catfish in one sitting, this one piece I threw away. The ribs, it’s very disappointing when you mess up ribs . The ribs were very chewy and not tender at all, had to put force into separating the meat from the bone, and the meat just had no flavor at all. The beans were actually really good, they were spicier than I expected but that could have been me not paying attention to the details but they were good, just a super small kids meal size for a grown man. Now to the chicken sandwich, that was the DRYEST chicken I’ve ever seen before. It was on a half hoagie with cheese, nothing else, no mayonnaise, no lettuce no tomato nothing. The chicken had no flavor and even with putting mayo on it it was like a Popeyes biscuit with no honey, a straight choke sandwich. The fries were ok, a little soggy but they had flavor.

What can I say… Simply amazing food! I’ve been in Utah for a short time and I’m writing this after my 2nd time eating at this place. My first time I had the catfish sandwich which was phenomenal, and my first time having catfish and it left a great impression. On my second visit I got the 3 meat plate with ribs, hot link, and pulled pork – I’m not even through eating my meal and I had to drop a review. Everything tastes amazing! I highly recommend pairing the pulled pork with their mustard sauce that they make at the place. There’s a lot of BBQ places in California that are great and this is right up there with them. Will be coming back for sure.

My go-to spot in St George. IMO, their wings are head and shoulders above anything else you’ll find in Utah, and among the best I’ve ever had. Big & meaty, perfectly smoked, reasonably priced, and with a sweet and spicy sauce that is just the bomb. The rest of the bbq is also really good, so you can’t go wrong here, but the wings are the star of the show. I wanna try the catfish next, cause this place doesn’t miss.

Seriously good BBQ! I found this place a few months ago when I was in St George. I live 5 hours away and have been back 3 times so far with both friends and family. I don’t go to St George just for the BBQ, but I can’t imagine not stopping at DUB’s while I’m there.

Honestly my husband and I came here after searching for bbq and reading some of the owners awesome responses to petty reviews. The food was amazing! I got a pulled pork sandwich and it was loaded with meat! I was really surprised by how much was on the bun (which was awesome too). I got it with the dubs style beans which rocked my world. My husband got a brisket sandwich and Cajun fries and we both really loved the food! The traditional and spicy sauces were both delicious. Good food and good service. We’ll be back when we’re in St George again.
