Was skeptical when entering as the building is old and didn’t seem to be the cleanest. However, I had the best taco I think I’ve ever had. Must try the Buffalo chicken tacos. Amazing! Our daughter loves their queso as well. UPDATE: Have been 4 times now, and it has been constantly tasty every single time!

Really think the health department should visit and review their practices. Came in for lunch to see a giant pot of what I think was queso sitting on the floor. An employee was pouring it into smaller pans and it was spilling all down the side and on the floor. She was scooping the spillage down the side of the big pot back up and inside with a large spatula and flinging it back into the pot. Other employees were laughing and watching her spill. The small pans sitting on the floor probably made it over to contaminate the walk in fridge after that. The place is generally grimey and lots of seat cushions are torn. There were spills on the bar top and no patrons at it. A few tables were seated, but a lot were empty. We were told we had to wait and after looking around at the conditions and the food handling we decided we didn’t want to get sick and left.

This place is so good. They have dedicated days towards certain deals regarding alcohol. Tacos were priced great and tasted fantastic. Queso and chips were also really good.

The restaurant was extremely dirty. I had a previous customer’s water sitting next to me the entire time. The server took 30 minutes to see us for the first time. The food was also extremely mediocre. Had the prices of Bakersfield without the quality or taste. I’d recommend finding another restaurant to eat at.

Update: Doordash says they issued refund on 6/9/23 & should be received within 3 business days. As of 6/19/23, still not received. I know that part isn’t Drunken Tacos fault, I’d just like to point out that if DD isn’t going to refund when half the order is missing, $40 is WAY too much for 3 tacos and 1 burrito. And DD refund wouldn’t be an issue had the restaurant fulfilled the order correctly!!

The food was good. However, they were out of a lot of things, including all the sodas, some of the specialty drinks they offer, and some of the food. But they stay busy even though it was limited to what you could order. Honestly, I probably won’t go back. It didn’t feel very clean. Felt a bit like a whole in the wall type of bar.

We ordered DoorDash from Drunken Tacos tonight. While the damage to the boxes were clearly the driver’s fault, the rest is on DT. The meat isn’t even on the tortilla in the one container, the other is a sloppy mess and the bag of chips was just heavy, greasy, stale crumbles. Do better.
