Absolutely amazing. We’re sushi lovers and let me tell you this has been one of the best sushi experiences by far.

We went to the Drunken Fish for my friends Bachelorette party on a Saturday night which we made reservations for ahead of time. We arrived to the host telling us that their rice cooker had broke and there would be no rice dishes served. We settled, telling him we would just have shashimi and would still like to be seated. We then waited at the entrance for an additional 10 minutes as various other wait staff came by to ask if we needed to be seated. When we told them we had reservations they would all just say “oh, ok” and walk away. When we were seated, we were placed in a private party room with no decorations and a broken chair with glasses stacked on top of it in the corner. On using the bathroom, I found dried vomit on the side of the stall walls and the paper towel dispenser ripped from the wall, sitting in the trashcan (I’d be slightly more understanding of this in a dive bar, but not an “upscale” sushi restaurant). We received our water, then waited over 50 minutes without even a drink order being taken. Before leaving we spoke to the manager about our experience who said that if we stayed, he would buy us all drinks and desert. After being convinced we stayed and had a fairly pleasant time, however we continued to get a very uncomfortable looks and vibes from the rest of the wait staff. The only reason I am giving this review a 2 star rating is because of the good service from our re-assigned waitresses and the free deserts. That being said, if you want to go to Drunken Fish, I’d stick with the Central West End location…

Very trendy if you’re in to that type of thing; the waitress gave us “her card” (her name was on it, and the resteraunt’s phone number), all the waiters and waitresses wore ties, all the employees addressed us with a more “modern” attitude, and it is certainly in a very trendy part of town. Food was a little over priced, Sushi was decent, good selection. Nothing out of the ordinary. Having tried several sushi locations in St. Louis, I would recommend Tani Sushi well over this, with similar prices but a much better atmosphere and food quality.

This place is awesome!!! Great sushi and drinks! They hooked us up with free treats because it was our honeymoon. We were so grateful! Sake bombs, Sapporo, sushi and dessert! Excellent!!

Great atmosphere, great staff, and great food! We were looking for a nice sushi lounge and this is just the place. The flavors of the food were fantastic. I highly suggest the gyoza and negi-maki! We also got a really good sake that was infused with kiwi (I think).

Great service. Food was nothing special. Smaller sushi places are cheaper and just as good if not better food or other sushi bars are better for same price

Walked in, took way too much time for someone to address us for seats. Was told there would be a 20 minute wait even though there was plenty of empty tables in sight. The host came off very rude whether it was intentional or not, never coming here again.
