**CASH ONLY** Very old little shanty serving up basic meals by the harbor. Very local so the food is prepped and served with love, service was quick and friendly. It was a foggy, rainy day so we had grilled sammies and chowder. Both were tasty and we’d def go back.

Be prepared to wait for this tiny but unforgettable breakfast join in the heart of Old Town. The kind and quirky waitress only adds to the charm and the food is exactly as delicious as you expect. But the real winner here is the building itself, an antique in every sense of the word. The Driftwood is legendary in sailing circles worldwide, and once you eat here, you feel like you’re a part of the history of this magical little place.

Excellent breakfast. I have atmospheres 5-stars because it is the Leggett casual surround. Great service!

As a neighborhood resident, I often bring visiting friends and family to the Driftwood. It’s a great place for a hearty and inexpensive breakfast and the waitresses are welcoming and fun to joke with. Service is usually prompt and efficient.

Me and three other people came here to get breakfast at 11:30am, we sat, ordered at 11:35am and we eventually got our food at 12:40pm as we watched countless people enter the establishment, get their food, and leave. When we did eventually get our food it was not nearly worth over the hour we waited considering the fries were burned, and the other food items I could find in the frozen section of a grocery store.

Driftwood is a special and timeless breakfast and lunch venue. The food is always fine but the atmosphere is a local treasure. Small space with tight seating and often a couple minute wait to get in the door at breakfast. worth it. bring cash.
