I visited this restaurant based on the outstanding review of their Banana Pudding. I also just grab a boneless rib sandwich to offset the sweetness I was expecting.

This place is great. A chain BBQ joint, that keeps it’s Alabama mom n pop roots. The food was great, and the staff was really nice. I had ribs (plump, perfectly smoked), ‘tater salad (with bits of skin and a mustard tang), and beans. The portions were great and it all came out really quick. I want to go back so that I can try the half chicken, okra, and Cole slaw. My rib dinner with 4 big bones, and a tea was $24.95.

Not gonna lie… I was not thrilled with our experience, here. We were excited to try it out on Sunday since they have free kids meals with adult purchase, but it still wasn’t worth the money in my opinion.

Me, my mom and sister decided to stop in on a whim and we’re so glad we did! We ended up getting some ribs, chicken, and the rib tips quesadilla, ALL delicious! Seasoned well, tender, and everything was hot and fresh. We met Nate who was the manager and he was pleasant and took great care of us. Our server was a sweetheart, and even though it was the end of their day, they served us quickly and kindly. We returned back the next day and the food and service was just as good. I hope the bad reviews I’ve seen here are just a few folks that caught them on their off days, because honestly I’ve been pleased with my experiences here. Definitely give them a try if you can!

Food was cold, I worse Mac and cheese I’ve ever had. I’ve eaten at this place in Alabama and was so much better. I guess we caught them at a bad time because we couldn’t even get real Texas toast! The ribs and chicken had been under the heat lamp to long, at least throw some water on it, something. Barbeque sauce tasted like straight hot sauce. This Really messed up this place legacy with this horrible tasting food. I was expecting more from this place

To anyone in Tallahassee Dreamland is up there with Red Shed and Mobettas. Definitly worth a try although the ones in Alabama are better.

It had been a while since I visited this place. On my visit back I had learned they were closing due to food poisoning. I offered my help Ed got snappy with me. I was harassed and used without notice of special operations and plot to take over property without delivering my share. Giving me a lot of heat.

The baker potato was on point! I highly recommend it! The baked beans tasted like store bought ones from a cheap brand. Hence, taking off 1 star.

They took forever with my order and I had to sit at a table watching people eat in front of me while I just sat there hungry. Also they forgot my order and had to ask my order several times. The food was good but the timing was really bad. Just go to McDonald’s instead.

We got the slab of ribs. They were very tender and delicious, almost fall off the bone. The service was pretty good although the atmosphere was very basic. Overall a very nice experience.
