Casual take out Chinese with poor parking and a storefront that shows its time. Food preparation was quick. Food is fresh and delicious. My order is general tso chicken. As show in the attached photos, the chicken fills up the side of the container and is not layered over rice like some places do to cut costs. The portion is generous and I’m sure they just barely closed the lid. The chicken is cooked perfectly, lightly battered, fried to a crispy exterior and moist interior, I’m guessing dark meat which I prefer anyway. The sauce is tasty in this americanized version. The broccoli is fresh and healthy and steamed perfectly. The fried rice is excellent with pork, bean sprouts, green onions, and yellow onions. This rice was cooked expertly with wok hei, which is char, giving the rice a undertone of smoke. I’d pair this rice against that of upscale restaurants. Pork in the rice is abundant. Exerything in this order was fresh and cooked perfectly. My one negative is that general tso is supposed to have szechaun peppers and have heat, but this was sweet which is on par for most americanized Chinese eateries in the tri state area. As a visitor, I’m saddened I don’t live closer to here as I would visit frequently. I do cook Chinese cuisine at home and can appreciate the technique and flavor in this order.

You can now go to the restaurant and order. Ordered, sat down and waited in a very quiet and cool environment. I was super tired and needed the smell and sounds to quiet my nerves. Oh yeah, the food was great. Fried House Rice: lots of meat, not oily, fresh. Pork and broccoli: Cooked just the way we like, broccoli still crunchy and pork tender and juicy. Guys loved their food too: Fried Chicken Wings with hot sauce and ketchup! Yummy…

I just picked up this food less than half an hour ago was eating the crab stick and found myself biting into plastic. I literally pulled this out of the crab stick.

I use to work in the area, and on my lunch break a coworker put me on to this one dish from this chinese restaurant. It’s called Chilli Grilled Shrimp. Now their fried instead of grilled, but that Chilli seasoning they put on those little delightful sea morsels turned me into a Chilli Grilled Shrimp addict. You get 12 or 13 pieces in a order, It comes with white rice, and the Shrimp are on a bed of lettuce with lemon slices. When you squeeze the lemon juice on them it just gives it that extra POP, but myself, forget the rice, forget the bed of lettuce and the lemon, I just want a order of 20 pieces, cost a little extra, but boy is it worth it. This is the 1 and only thing I order from this chinese restaurant, and I travel by train just to get my fix. That’s how good they are.

Called ahead to make an order but they take cash only (at least as of todays date: 11/30/22). Got no cash on me but the fellow on the phone was kind. Wish I couldve tried the food..

Friendly staff, food served hot. Apparently now every Chinese restaurant makes general tso chicken slightly different. Not bad just not how I like it.

I tend to set my expectations high on a restaurant, if they can execute one popular dish.

So so fresh! The vegetables in the fried rice and the general tso chicken were incredibly flavorful! Their wonton soup is also epic with flavorful homemade dumplings and broth. Highly recommend

Shrimp and broccoli is very tasty. It has a very clean and garlicky flavor. The prices are high. Clearly the people that say that the prices are “decent” and “can’t beat it” must be locals living in the luxury apts that start at 1,650 for a studio. This is not NYC and a typical Chinese lunch special should be $6.00 tops, not $7.00. I would recommend if you want to treat yourself on a payday.
