The food was not it & we went right at lunch time. The only thing that I felt was good was the egg rolls & the spicy chicken. Everything else was just not fresh. Service wasn’t the best either. The place was beautiful though.

Well, I stumbled across this place while touring the Spring Hill Mall that I hadn’t been to in nearly 30+ years. The Dragon Buffet is a very very reasonable place to eat. For $15 your gonna be hard pressed to find a better deal. Everything I ran across was piping hot. The food was delicious. Great variety and selection. Was slightly disappointed in the overcooked crab… But, all things aside it was a great find and dinning experience. I would highly recommend, and look forward to going back again.

I should’ve listen to the reviews, but I had to be stubborn and try it myself. All the reviews are correct. The two girls didn’t move when I walked in the front door they sat on their phones. It was filthy in there. The food was definitely not good food and I definitely will not go back there, I didn’t see any cockroaches but it doesn’t mean they weren’t there just my experience

Had some business elsewhere in the mall. Decided to hop in to dragon. The sushi offering was pretty weak. They didn’t have any with real fish. The place wasn’t particularly clean. The staff were short and not particularly pleasant, maybe they were having an off day. None of the meals really stood out. Will probably not return

The whole ambience of this restaurant is just…sad. I’m giving the food two stars because it’s affordable but you can literally find this food elsewhere. I had not stepped into this location for years and wanted to see what had changed but after reading past reviews, I was hesitant to do so because one of them mentioned cockroaches? Curious, I entered and it’s just gone downhill. Did the past owners leave? You would think being in business for 10+ years would bring slight changes. The pizza had the weirdest flavor (a simple cheese pizza) and the pineapple in the fruit salad had gone bitter. A relative of mine found a flake of food on the drinks we had just gotten. The kids upfront look miserable (don’t blame them) and there’s no adult in sight. No welcoming words or greetings when we arrived as well. We hadn’t even sat down before one of the kids began asking what we wanted to drink. What’s the rush? The place was not full. I’m giving two stars for the service as the waitress picking up our plate was very kind. Other than that, you can find better places. Cleaner ones too if you keep reading the reviews on this place. If you want to eat cheap, Brianna’s Pancake House in East Dundee and Ray’s Diner in Elgin exist. This is the last time I come here.

Years ago I loved going here. One time I went and there were roaches crawling in the booth. I left and never went back. I will say the food was always good, especially the Hibachi grill station and the crab.
