My family and I came in just after the farmers market. We ended up trying 2 crepes, a playa bowl, a salad and some bubble teas. And every last thing was amazing. If you’re looking for something to eat in downtown Newark we highly recommend.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is delicious and everything is fresh. They give you a good portion size and even though it’s made to order they get it done quickly. Highly recommend the famous Greek bowl with quinoa and chicken.

I was looking forward to trying out bubble tea and the new shop but I was disappointed. When we walked in, employees were not very welcoming and while our order was being prepared another employee decided to grab a knife with their ungloved hand and start picking at and cleaning the blade. We also got a smoothie which tasted mostly of milk and the bubble tea wasn’t chilled, if this is what it is meant to taste like, too bad, however the interior is very cute and friendly and it’s a great concept.

So I love smoothies and açaí bowls….. and As someone who gets them often in various different places across the country, DT Fruit Passion seems to have their bowls “premade”, and this is made obvious due to the discoloring of the açaí (brown) and the texture being very chunky and icy (almost like it was thawed out). This great affects flavor and experience in my opinion! My hope is that they will either make them fresh or can eventually change their recipe on how they make the bowls, and possibly use actual fresh fruit! We haven’t tried smoothies yet here though, that could be a different experience.

Third time getting an oatmazimg from here & the woman added literally WAY to much ice in it. The ice made it taste like nothing but water. The lady wasn’t welcoming at all & made me very uncomfortable because she was rushing. I’ll just get the ingredients & make it my own. This is very unfortunate because the first few times I got the drink, it was absolutely PERFECT.
