Cute, kitschy diner on Route 66, in the small town of Weatherford, OK. Fabulous fresh made- to- order omelet, great coffee, and giant cinnamon rolls. Fast, friendly service. Reasonable prices. Loved the decor.

Flip Out
This diner was a hit, as confirmed by Little Flip Out’s comment, “We must come again!” We got Little Flip Out the kid’s burger and he really liked it. It was large enough to share with Littlest Flip Out. Mrs. Flip Out ordered their Saturday special, the hickory burger and she said it was delicious. She liked the onion ring pieces that came on the burger and the entire meal was really good. I had the Famous Kitty’s Chicken Bites with jalapeños and my sides were the house salad and onion rings. I can see why these are a favorite; the breading with the spices made it delicious. This seemed to be a local favorite and was very busy. We will be adding it to our list of future return visits.

Quick with refills….food was made fresh..very, very good ..when ever back in town an don’t want a fast food chain will definitely be coming back ..got cookies to go..picture of the specials sheet, we went on a Saturday. Went in on 2/3 and our waitress walked out without bringing us one of our meals. That we never got. Yet somehow charged $26 for 1 catfish special and 1 kids chicken meal. Ok fine we tried again today. That waitress was back. She didn’t even bring our drinks we sat for at least 10 mins waiting while she brought things to other people. We gave up and left. We will NOT be trying again. The service is terrible and the cookies are worse.

Downtown Diner is everything you want from a Main Street diner. The servers and management are super friendly and my omelette was large, hot, and delicious. Also tried the catfish and shrimp special and it was the best I’ve had in a while!
