Decent food and friendly, but slow service. We went on New Year’s day and was able to walk right up and sit outside. We ordered french toast, a scramble and an eggs benedict. It took a very long time for our food to come and our bill at the end of our time. It did not look busy and there seemed to be enough staff, but it was painfully slow. I started to think that we were forgotten at some point. All in all, the food was good but I would probably pass for another offering.

Be prepared for a Loooong wait. The omelet was good and the French toast was good, but that is where it ended. We waited for 35 minutes after being seated. Then another 25 minutes for food. Had to flag down the waitress for a check. We received water when we arrived but no refills offered. The hasbrowns were burnt so bad they were black on both sides. Floors and tables are also sticky

Downtown cafe is a Mexican diner doing its best to appeal to its surrounding area. A single diner in a street drowning in options. Upon entry it seems like a typical American diner. However upon further inspection you notice the menu is Mexican.

I’m a somewhat regular customer coming about twice a month. Its a great place to go with a group of people. Most of the time there is a band playing. There is space to dance and the food and drinks are good. If you go ask for Brittany as her service is top notch! She is always friendly & greets you with a smile. Unlike some of the other servers there I get the impression she loves her job & is happy to be there. 10 stars for Brittany.

Friendly staff and fast service. Visited for lunch and my sandwich was absolute perfection! The chicken and mushrooms were hot, the cheese was beautifully melted, but the lettuce was crisp and the avocado stayed firm (not mushy all over). My mom got the french toast and said it might be the best she’s had in her life- very flavorful and full of cinnamon. Would definitely recommend!
