We live nearby and ended up at Dover largely by accident. There were only a few people at the bar and at first, we weren’t sure we would like it but ended up talking to the bartender (Corey I think) and he made it a great time. He had some great stories and recommended some great food. The menu is fairly small but we really enjoyed what we had. The cheesecake was awesome (ask for the story behind it). We will definitely visit again.

Laid back breakfast with a great ala carte menu on weekdays! The food was cooked to order and our drinks refilled in a timely manner.

The staff is very friendly, but the breakfast buffet was expensive and not that good. The eggs and oatmeal were both cold, everything else was fair. for four of us to have coffee and the breakfast bar cost $73… far too much based on the quality.

I was at the hotel for an evening conference but am following a diet so I thought I’d be better off ordering from the restaurant than eating what was offered. My meal was pleasant but nothing special. I thought it rather over priced for what it was. My steak was tender but had several areas that were pure gristle and I could not eat. My server was friendly & helpful when asked but less attentive than I would have liked and I had to request my empty water glass be refilled twice.

Big thanks to the bar tender working last night (receipt says Corey, so I’ll assume that’s his name)! He was friendly and put up with us having a good time! Thank you!!

My good friend and I spent this past weekend at the Double Tree in SLP and were at the Dover both Friday & Saturday Evening. It was quiet and the bartender we had both nights, Megan I believe… was wonderful. She remembered our drinks from the night before and gave great service. The bar was quiet but she was busy with food delivery orders and a few other customers. She honestly made us feel like we were the only ones there. You have a treasure. Thanks Megan! (I hope I have that right – On shift 7/23 & 7/24) Green Olives.

I don’t know why this has such a low rating. The only negatives I have are when we came in, we didn’t know if we had to wait to be seated, then when we sat down, the bartender came over, took our order and about 5 minutes later the waiter came over and tried to take our order. Everything else was outstanding. The bartender was super friendly and made delicious drinks. I ordered The Burger and I absolutely loved it. Fries were nice and crispy as well. Please consider going here if you stay at the hotel.

Food was passable at best but the wait staff was atrocious. I was one of 2 people in the bar/ restaurant and he ignored me and the other lady for close to 20 minutes before even asking if we wanted a beverage.

To be fair this is hotel food. With that being said it is good hotel food. The prices and portions are in line with what you can expect at a hotel which makes the value/experience a 3. However the quality of the food is a 4 so that’s what I rated it. The biggest issue this restaurant has is all the competition in the area. Because it’s located on the west end there are many other options where a better value can be obtained. However if higher price points and smaller food portions are not a pain spot for you and you want to avoid large crowds/waits, leaving your room or the building this food is definitely a decent choice.
