Great hidden seafood store with a large area used for a restaurant which has wonderful options of seafood

Lobster salad – lobster was fine but the lettuce was mostly the thick white ends at the base and most were rusty

The food was great. If you are looking for a place off the beaten path this is the place. Fresh food, great flavor, for a good price.

I’m going to be as nice as possible but not lie. When you walk in the smell is off putting. It’s a seafood establishment so it’s to be expected but cleaning with a little bleach can drastically minimize the smell. I ordered the clam chowder and there was no clam in my chowder, more potatoes than anything. When I was ordering my roll, the guys asked if I wanted chips as a side, me thinking I was getting fries was extremely disappointed when I received potato chips. It felt like a joke. Calling that thing a lobster roll is a huge reach. It might be lobster, it might not be. It’s served on a potato hot dog bun. Anywhoo, you order and your given a table number and they bring everything to you and just hand it to you. No trays, no actual plates. They’re operating cost might be low but their environmental impact is huge. The amount of waste this place must produce. Anyways, they have a soda fountain option where the soda is located on the other end of the restaurant, in the back. I did not enjoy this experience and I will not be back. I’m honestly shocked at all the other reviews or how this place is even open. Definitely smoke and mirrors.

As long as you go in expecting a strip mall seafood place, you won’t be disappointed. In my experience the hole-in-the-wall local places have the best food regardless of cuisine, but most often with seafood.

The shrimp caught that day. People that is fresh seafood. Thank you Doug’s

We’ve been in Naples since mid-November and only just discovered Doug’s thanks to a neighbor’s recommendation. We’re from New England, so we felt very much at home here. As has been said, it isn’t fancy but the best seafood is found in less than fancy places. I had the New England Clam Chowder and a small lobster roll, the way it’s supposed to be served; cold with a little mayo. The chowder was excellent (and yes, it contained plenty of clams) and the lobster roll ranks up there with the best I’ve had, including on the New England coast. The amount of meat for the price was way over my expectations.

First lobster roll I’ve ever had. No idea how it compares. The new England clam chowder was great vs the many variations I’ve ever had. It needed some salt and pepper but was amazing. Next visit in shipping the lobster roll and getting the Chowwwwda

The seafood platter was good and seemed fresh. But the atmosphere is horrible! Everything is not well cleaned or kept up! Apparently there are new owners who don’t care about the appearance and smell. The place needs a new ventilation system or moved to a better location with outside ventilation!!!
