I didn’t want to put any stars but in order to be able to comment, I had to put 1 . Doug’s pizza went down Hill so bad it isn’t the same like it used to be.. pizza was barely warm, toppings was skimpy and the crust has changed and I will not be ordering anything from this establishment anymore! The pizza looks better in the picture than in person. I’m disappointed with Doug’s point..this pizza was 20.00 for 2 toppings and I don’t have no more words. Crust is to thick, they used to make it thinner.

Have not had Doug’s in a long time and have it a try tonight, absolutely fantastic!! Pizza was hot when it was delivered and it was done in a timely manner. Absolutely made us regret not ordering from them in so long!

I had Doug Point pizza when I was growing up. When it was on Mount Vernon Road. I was so happy to find it again on Cedar Street! Just as good as I remembered and you cannot beat the price! Try it! You’ll love it too!

OK, So, I’ve lived in Newark a couple of years and occasionally I see this little place (which is primarily hidden – if it weren’t for the fact that I stopped to the restaurant next to them, I would have never known they existed). I called in and asked if they had a menu online. They told me no. I said Ok, what specials do you have? I ended up choosing their 17 inch pizza with everything on it and “cheesy” breadsticks. It was super cheap in price and I was shocked. So I said “will you please send a menu with the pizza so that I know what you have for the next order?” They tell me that they do not have any. Ok. So this is sort of a major turn off. I get it, small businesses… but it’s free to put your menu online, even if it is on your facebook page.

Called to order food for first time at 10:40 pm. After 10 rings, very low voice answers and said they were closed. Hours say open until mid night. Who closes hour and half early. My guess the pizza must not be good.
