Dough Zone Dumpling House was established in Seattle in 2014. The motivation behind the creation of Dough Zone was a desire to bring traditional homemade Chinese comfort food into a modern setting. Dough Zone opened its first store in Bellevue, WA and since then, Dough Zone has expanded into a chain with seven stores throughout the greater Seattle area. And two of the branch stores in Northern California are now open in San Mateo & Cupertino. We specialize in authentic Chinese buns like Q-Bao (Pan Fried Buns), Xiao Long Bao (Soup Dumplings), and a variety of distinct, regional Chinese noodles.

The menu is limited for dumpling, wonton and noodles, but it’s tasty with decent price. Service is also quick.

Dough is my all time go to place for lunch. I had visited dough zone in portland and it was huge and inside it was like a five star luxury restaurant, it was in downtown. But this restaurant in san jose is also in a nice place but the restaurant wasn’t that big. Also the table for two is very small.

This is my second time here. It was definitely better than the first. First time the service was not great. This time it was pretty good. Fried pork buns are the best! And some of the noodle dishes are good too. I like the braised beef noodle soup. XLB and onion cake also good. It’s a little pricey though.

Dough zone has a great ordering system in place. Scan the menu, order individually and pay immediately. And within few minutes, the order gets served. Hassle free.

Their Pork Soup Dumplings was good, but the Dan Dan Noodle wasn’t what I expected. Overall it was a good meal.

Quick and easy spot for when you’re craving for some dumplings! Came in on a Friday afternoon and it was easy to get seated and service was great. Our favorite was the wontons in chili oil (ate too fast to be pictured) and the Q-Bao’s, fluffy on top and crispy on the bottom. Would highly recommend!

Nice chained dumpling restaurant.

The waiter was bilingual in Chinese and English. However, she didn’t talk to us at first. She only indicated a QR code so that we could place an order.

Came here for lunch on a Saturday. There was a 30 minute wait. When we were seated they told us we can order from the QR code which I thought was pretty cool. I got the beef pan fried dumplings, they were ok. Pork steamed bun. It was ok. Spicy dumplings were good. Chicken pot stickers were good. Cold noodles were good. They didn’t have rice or much of a vegetable selection, just broccoli and a-choy. The staff was friendly and came by with water frequently. One lady mixed up my daughter sprite for water and I told her sorry that’s sprite. She apologize and brought us another one right away. Over all the dumplings were ok. Next time I may just order to go.

This was my first time here and dine in experience was great! Contactless menu and pay with a QR code made it really smooth. I ordered the chicken, pork and crab soup dumplings and pot stickers. Dumpling wrap was soft, chewy and perfect consistency. The soup dumplings had flavorful broth and overall good taste. The pot stickers had a nice, crunchy crust and soft shell. Staff were very attentive and service was quick. I will definitely recommend to family and friends! I will be coming back a second time to try the noodles.
