All the good reviews and word of mouth is true. Come eat here. The food served up here is amazing. Since moving to the area, we’ve been coming to Double R Bar at least once a month. Every time the food and service has been great. The hamburgers are top notch. All the beef dishes we’ve tried are very good, the meat is always prepared how you ask for it to be prepared. The soups are delicious. They have a good selection of beers on tap, you won’t go thirsty. Good prices. A very nice friendly atmosphere.

Just left there, have eaten here several times , always good but tonight waitress was unfriendly, brought new people for 1st time, not impressed, even woman who brought out food was crabby, literally through the food on the table and left. Ribs were cold, so disappointed, this was my birthday dinner☹️. Felt like we were an inconvenience, if you don’t have enough help then close some tables off and take better are of your customers.

Double R is our go-to when we are at the lake on the weekends. The food is always delicious, the salad bar is always fresh and has homemade soup! We’ve been going there for years and never had a bad meal! Depending on when you go the wait might be a little longer, but, what do you expect? They have the BEST food in town! It’s worth the wait!
