I’m not much of a bar person but damn, that food is good. The garlic fried cheese curds are worth the trip and that’s just a side, the burgers are next level.

Basic neighborhood Tavern. Their food is very good if you are patient as it’s a small kitchen and if there are several orders it takes a bit. My fave is a cheeseburger with tater tots. My wife and I will drive 30 minutes if that’s what we crave.

This was the first time we were at Double R Bar and we loved the “home feeling” as soon as we walked in! We ordered Cheeseburgers and fries and were served very quickly by friendly staff. The burgers are the best around so next your in the neighborhood give them a try! I guarantee you won’t be disappointed!

If you are going to run a bar with a kitchen, you should announce to your customers that you are about to close your kitchen before you just shut everything down. We ordered appetizers and said we would start with that. 20 minutes later when we tried to order sandwiches, we were told that the kitchen was closed! Never again

One of the best places to eat. Years ago they’d serve pickled eggs, and they were twenty-five cents a piece. That’s quite a markup but I guess vinegar is pricey….currently I go in for the ONE POUND BURGER. Best ten bucks of paleo-Inspired food I’ve had in a good while. Friendly bartenders. Sandy, Steven, Jake were awesome.
