We’ve come here several times and the food and service are always good. Started off the night with the free garlic bread. Then the Firecracker Shrimp. It was delicious. A little spicy but not so hot everyone didn’t enjoy it. A very light breading and perfectly seasoned and a surprisingly large serving. I didn’t count but there must have been over a dozen shrimp. Then we had some of the best clam chowder ever, and I’ve had it all along the California coast and Boston. Rich, creamy, and tasty. Finally, the main course. By now I’m already getting full. I had the Grilled Halibut with mashed potatoes and white gravy. The potatoes were good, maybe a little above average, but the halibut was wonderful. Lightly seasoned, no sauce, so the full flavor of the fish shone through. My dad had the order of two pork chops which was way more than he could eat. Great steakhouse, highly recommend. Casual atmosphere, very Western, and you’re going at spend some money.

They are open despite google saying they are closed… check their website… The staff was friendly and extremely responsive. Food was large portions so we split a meal and paid for the split charge which was great. Bathrooms and table cloths can use an upgrade but the service and food was excellent!

Great place for BBQ. very impressed. better than any other BBQ in Visalia. I admit it is expensive but the atmosphere is unique and biiiig portions. free garlic sticks. meal comes with a small salad and main dish. I couldn’t finish half my plate from the portions but great for left overs. if you want to try a little of everything pick the mixed grill. 10/10. only bad thing I can say was the wait time for a seating but it’s worth it. went here for Valentine’s day as a suprise and very happy with my date dinner. Picture of mixed grill provided

The food was delicious! Steaks and Lobster cooked to perfection! Drinks were Great! It did take a little longer, but they are short staffed. Totally worth the wait and our server Debbie was Great! Great experience! Definitely will be back! Thank you Double LL Steakhouse!! You deserve more stars!

Rating 1 because waited around 40 minutes and no one even came to ask about what food we wanted to eat so left due to hunger. Atmosphere was nice, but wait time after already being seated is just ridiculous. Also, water taste like tap water from a faucet or something. Also, I put $50-$100 per person for food because after looking at the menu, that’s sums up about the cost of food that we were going to pay and eat, but didn’t due to poor service.

Just don’t!! Food wasn’t worth the price! Our server, Amanda, was the best thing about the place. Once you get past the plastic table cloths and old cowboy decorations (which I usually love), the food just wasn’t good. Everything is very old and needs to be updated. Wine was bad and tasted like it had been open for weeks. The Old Fashion had little to no bourbon in it and flavor just wasn’t there.

Started off with garlic butter bread and it was good but it was like missing something. Salad was next. It’s wasn’t that great. My main entree came out and I had ordered a chicken fried steak with gravy on top. I’m not much of a complainer and would normally eat it no matter what. That was the worst chicken fried steak I have ever had. I tried and I mean I tried my best to eat it. I got about a quarter way through the chicken fried steak. Trying to give the benefit of the doubt. Thinking it would get better and it didn’t. I gave up and had to say something. Maybe this experience was just this one time and I will give them another chance. I will probably order a rib eye next time.
