Cool place, generally good food. Although my much buddy wished for more sauce on her pulled pork sandwich. She was able to get this from staff, but the fried okra was also a bit bland. I live the hallelujah chicken and just tried a breakfast omelet with smoked chicken, verrry good

Texas vibes in the heart of the PNW! With rusted tin and old barn wood decor, any Southerner would feel right at home here. With ShinerBock on tap, you know the food is gonna be great! Highly recommend. The portions are very generous and the atmosphere is great! They also have an outdoor seating area as well!

The food here is plentiful but we found all the meats were way too salty for our tastes. Everything tasted nice and smokey but it was overwhelming. The beef briscit was the least salty. Ribs were kind of dry. Chicken was moist but too salty. I had the mashed potatoes as a side and they were smothered in this white gravy that was not appealing. Roasted vegetables were overcooked and dry as well. Baked beans and Mac and Cheese were good.

Very awesome BBQ restaurant in Sedro-Wolley! Open when many other things are closed too (like a Sunday midday on a holiday weekend, and much appreciated for it!)

I would like to recommend something, but EVERYTHING is 5⭐️. So good! Family-owned restaurants with pride in everything they do. We will return every time we are in the area and will likely drive up from the Seattle area just for the food and the experience.

I was passing through when I saw a sign for their brisket grilled cheese and decided I had to stop for that. And it was definitely worth it. The brisket was moist and rich and was perfect on the grill cheese, and the coleslaw that came on the side was probably the best coleslaw I’ve ever had. I live 2 hours away but I honestly would consider making the drive just to eat here again.

4.5 stars here most definitely. Finally, after driving by so many times during a period when we didn’t need a meal, the timing came together to eat some Q here. The aroma of smoked meat was pleasantly pungent as we arrived. Great atmosphere with everything done so well from the furnishings and the décor on the walls down to the self-serve peanuts with shells tossed to the floor to make you feel like you are eating in a Texas roadhouse. I loved it.

What isn’t to love. Friendly staff and atmosphere, easy access and good parking, and most of all the food!

We rolled into Double Barrel BBQ on a Monday around 5pm and it was pleasantly crowded, a good sign. Standouts on our plates included ribs, roasted veggies, fried okra (the sauce is addictive), both types of cornbread, and sweet pea succotash. The ribs were truly exceptional, served dry with their caramelized exterior since you could sauce your own from the triple sauce bar that also has pickles/picked stuff in like 6 varieties. We also had brisket and pulled pork, which were good but the ribs were in a different class. Meaty, firm but tender… just perfect. We wish we lived closer so we could come back more often! We will definitely return next time we’re in the area!

(05/24/23) Ordered the DBB Cheddar & Bacon Burger this evening, holy cow! 97% cow, 3% nunofyabizinez! Juicy YES, flavourful YES, first bite holycowish? YES! Met Jim & Nancy, salt of the earth. Jessica took care of us once again, couldn’t be happier! …….OK, 20 Stars it is! Updated (1/18/23) Jessica took exceptional care of us this afternoon. Between her and her twin Erin, you cannot get better service, PERIOD! The wings are incredible as was the Carolina Pulled Chicken. We expected greatness on our second visit, we were blown away, yet again!!! Will we be returning? Duh!!! Previous Post: 10 STARS!!! “UPDATED 10/31/22 WE ARE STILL TALKING ABOUT OUR INCREDIBLE DINNER @ DB BBQ! (Original post 10/29/22) Exceptional! Erin took such great care of us, TY Erin! The entire experience was far beyond our expectations! The first five words out of my wife’s mouth after taking her first bite of her Prime Rib was: “Oh my god, holy f***!” From the peanuts to the pickles, the hot peppers and the choice of BBQ sauces (all included btw) just enhanced the experience. The ribs were to die for, the potato salad / coleslaw / succotash / house made horseradish & the Chipotle Hot BBQ were all divine. What a find! This was our first visit; it certainly will not be our last!!!!!
