The food was amazing. We were just passing through and stopped to use the restroom and get our son something to eat. The salsa is beyond fresh it tasted so good. The only thing I was a little disappointed about is their menu didn’t have calories. Overall great place

Was pleasantly surprised. Food was good, with decent flavor. But the queso on top of my burrito just seemed ok. Better than some of the other North Texas places I have been but not Houston. Good variety on menu. Only been here once will try again. Like to have more than one experience to really do my review

What can I say? Just don’t go there. Bought Menudo to go. It was absolutely horrible. I’ll never go back and if you’re smart, you won’t go there either. It is terrible. A large Menudo that was only half of a cup and over $14 with no condiments it is criminal.

Extremely generic food. Not a lot of flavor in a cuisine you’d normally expect to be brimming with it. It is a decent place for a simple family dinner, and the service is ok, but do not expect to be blown away.

Nice atmosphere. Friendly and attentive service. I ordered The Bronco – A tamale, enchilada, and taco with rice and beans. The food came out quickly and was nice and hot. I really liked the rice; it was typical Mexican rice, but different enough from others to stand out. My tamale was big, and the chili sauce on top was very good. The only con was the chips. They were thin and crispy, which I like BUT they were SO greasy. The grease was almost dripping off! So much that the grease flavor over powered the chip flavor. This was my first time here, so I am going just assume they are not tyoically that greasy. We arrived just after opening, and I think maybe they didn’t have their oil completely heated before frying the chips. The hot sauce was really fresh and good. The parking lot was filling up, so it seems that lots of people like to eat there. I will definitely go back next time I’m in town.

I felt like the food could have been a bit more flavorful. The chips were good. The sauces were grocery store quality. The queso was bland.

This was my first visit to Dos Chiles. I give them top ratings for: 1. Beautiful atmosphere 2. Friendly and knowledgeable service 3. Gracious hospitality, and 4. Fresh, quality ingredients. Further explanation: 1. A clearly skilled decorator found unique ethnic items to adorn the restaurant. 2. Emily enthusiastically cared for our table of six men. She offered quick recommendations when asked. And she kept our salsa bowls and chips coming.

Disappointed salsa tasted more like puree tomatoes. The queso is canned and not freshly made. Small portion and big price.Disappointed that grilled chicken fajitas didn’t taste grilled(neither vegetables or meat had a grill char on them) There always room for improvement. Took 15 minutes to get a brownie with scoop ice cream. Because our waitress was sitting in a booth near us talking with customer talking. Then they charge you a fee for using bank card over cash. Consumer pays credit card fee…poor experience.
