Classic experience at a classic old-world venue. Arrived at 4:30 for Friday fish fry and assumed we’d waltz right to a table. Nope. This place is so popular that we had an hour wait! No matter, we found a place at the bar and enjoyed german bier vom fass and great conversations with new friends. Waitress and food were excellent. A top fish fry experience in Wisconsin!

We had the family style fish fry. Food was very good. Meal consisted of batter fried cod, German potato salad, fritters, Cole slaw.. all very good. Chocolate cheese cake wonderful. Yhe atmosphere of the restaurant was definitely old world Germany . Restaurant vary large with multiple dining areas to handle multiple groups.

It was a quaint, beautiful place with friendly staff and older crowd. We got a pretzel appetizer and it was so huge! The Brandy Old Fashioned was delicious and done right. The entrees seemed small at first but they were filling. Overall, the food was good and the atmosphere was relaxing. Great place to take your parents!
