Have you ever had a feeling when you get in the restaurant and you have a gut feeling that the food is going to be so good? This is it! I have been recording which restaurant serves the best country fried steak. I’d say Doodads is in my top 2 rank. If you are looking for a good brunch spot, here it is! We will come back to try catfish on Friday or Saturday next time.

It was such a great place to visit. Fried pickles were a hit. The catfish was plate was hot, crispy, and more than enough. Hot fudge cake came with ice cream and was devoured. Our server was so sweet, and she really made the meal enjoyable.

I love the fish. Always good baked potatoes, not leftover baked potatoes.Went with a party of eight tonight.,Everyone’s food was good. Cooks came out to see if everything is good. The employees are the nicest people ever. Have started coming here at least twice a month. Only complaint is when they are real busy, they could use more waitresses.

Super friendly staff. Breakfast portions were HUGE. Prices were very fair. Locals frequent here. Although we didn’t order one, the omelets are 4 eggs and looked delicious. This massive pancake was only the medium size!

Very good food, reasonably priced. The staff is very friendly. My order got messed up, but they were very apologetic and made it right. The cook came put and apologized and took responsibility for the mistake. We will definitely go back.

If you’re looking for southern charm and a down home feeling for the volunteer state of tennessee. You might want to stop in and give this place a try. The nicest people you ever want to meet. Even though Nashville is sadly changing into a not so friendly City because of the “outsiders”. This place is still hanging on to its old-fashioned downhearted God-fearing Southern roots. God bless these people for staying true to their traditions like I am.

This is one of those hidden gems. I found it while driving to an interview. Best decision I made that day was stopping. Didn’t get the job, but I did get an awesome BBQ bologna sandwich. It was so good I made a 2 hour trip back to have breakfast.

Awesome small place. Ordered breakfast. Beware…One pancake is super size! But flavor is great and definitely homemade. Scrambled eggs were fluffy and bacon not too hard done, like I like it, still chewy. Place also serves Lunch (sandwiches, burgers and hamburgers) and some dinner items.Quaint place with good food when hotel fare is same old same old. Opens for breakfast and closes at 8pm.
