I was excited to see this hidden place as I was pumping gas and I always like to shop small businesses. I rarely complain about things especially food, but this here was something else. I ordered the Oxtail Plate. The only thing good was the corn bread it was sweet and buttery and hot! My Mac and cheese was watery and you can tell they had just added cheese in it but it was never baked. My Oxtails was cold as if they had been cook the night or day before no seasoning what’s so every and all I had was 2 bones and the rest was scraps from the bottom of the pot. I took a few bites and the plate is still sitting in my back seat with the food still in it. I was told it would be a 10 min wait and I see why I’m not going to say I won’t try them again but food is too high to serve customers just anything. Where’s the passion and soul behind soul food I enjoy cooking I couldn’t imagine serving a paying customer anything if that nature

Come on now ya’ll, you have to add salt to your grits and eggs. Or atleast supply salt and pepper packets if you’re not going to add while cooking. My grits and eggs didn’t have nothing but cheese on top. No salt, pepper, nothing. Both were completely tasteless. And my salmon croquettes were fried HARD, way past well done. Fix it Jesus. I’m sorry, the worse breakfast I’ve had in a long time.

This time I managed to get a few pics before I ate. There are so many unique places to eat in Atlanta and this is another hidden gem that I’m glad to reveal. It’s more soul food oriented as you can see from my pictures, but the menu has a variety of choices because they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you’re visiting and desire the local flavor, try this place you won’t be disappointed.

I got the classic platter with cheesy grits and French toast let me start by saying there was no flavor no seasoning no salt no pepper on anything…. The food was cold and I didn’t even get my French toast I got 3 dry pancakes smh the grits were not done super grainy and no salt or pepper they didn’t even put syrup or butter in the box for the pancakes by far the biggest waste of money not worth one penny! Just bc you sprinkle parsley on everything doesn’t mean it’s seasoned ‍♀️ ‍♀️

THIS HAS TO BE THE WORST BREAKFAST I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY EXISTENCE! I have never experienced food so plain and dry in my life. They make the pictures look nice but they have no flavor at all not even salt. They add parsley to try to make it look like a 5 star meal but it has no flavor at all. I think they just throw eggs on a stove and overcook the eggs. Honestly my school breakfast taste sooo much better than this and I am not exaggerating. My turkey patty was burned and plain. My eggs were hard dry and overcooked w cheese sprinkled on top. My toast was burnt. The grits were definitely gritty and watery w no salt or pepper whats so ever. If you want my honest opinion about this I don’t think they should be selling breakfast at all especially with all the unseasoned reviews they got they still makes their food bland. I don’t even think they’re breakfast plates deserve not even 1 star. Maybe a half star.. no better yet a quarter star. It was horrible! Do not waste your money here. I took 1 bite of each item and threw the whole plate out. I don’t even think my dogs would enjoy this… I don’t mean to be harsh but obviously customers are wasting their money on this food and the owners obviously see the reviews and only respond to the good reviews, and continue to sell unseasoned and overcooked food. I dont think they care of how their food tastes as long as we waste our money there then they’re good.

Well I ordered Uber Eats. Wanted breakfast should have just drove to waffle house but I wfh. So got my food. Ok temperature but I’ll just put in oven. When I opened my take out my gifts and eggs smelled funny. So I let that pass thought maybe it me. Places in oven came back out w same smell. So yes I tasted it. It made me gag. Not sure what that smell was or why GIRTS AND EGGS smelled and tasted this way. Nope never Again. I tried to patronize our Black business but something was off. Thank you but no Thank you.

I had the salmon bites grits an eggs an honestly I’ve never had any this like it……GREAT IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT the bites were fried perfectly an I asked for a light scramble on my eggs an they were literally the way my granny used to make them for me…. I go by for breakfast at least 3/4 times a week….

I ordered the chicken sausage with fries and the fries and sausage had so much love in it. First of all it was fried cut potatoes seasoned to perfection added with chopped bell peppers the sausage cooked perfectly not over done and rubbery or undercooked and it came with sliced onion and bell pepper. I couldn’t believe something so simple could be so superb. . I will be definitely coming back to explore more of the menu.

I got breakfast twice here. First time I had the chicken and waffles. The wings were under seasoned. The waffle was okay but the syrup provided was very watery and strange tasting I believe it was made in-house. Second time I got da classic with a side of pancakes. Turkey bacon was the only thing good. Eggs were bland with cheese thrown on top. The potatoes were just that, potatoes with no seasoning. Pancakes tasted like they were cooked on a griddle that wasn’t cleaned so I can taste remnants of other food. It made me nauseous and I couldn’t take another bite. Maybe the lunch options are better but the breakfast is disappointing.
