Dong Ting Chun is an award winning Hunan restaurant on the second floor of San Gabriel Square. The menu is filled with various dishes incorporating meats like: frog, beef, chicken, pork, lamb and of course fish. Speaking of fish, the spicy fish head with green and red peppers is very popular here and one of their signature dishes. Highly recommend the Cumin Lamb and their Spicy Beef with celery and peppers. They do have vegetables, the Spicy Cauliflower is fantastic…none of the dishes were oily or overly salted. A nice dessert is pumpkin pancakes…five pancakes lightly dusted with powdered sugar. Service is good and the servers are helpful and friendly. Prices are reasonable and moderate. An excellent family style restaurant…casual with a nice unassuming atmosphere.

The food is too salty. When I informed the restaurant that your food is too salty, they told me it’s normal. Tell me to add less salt next time. This is such a ridiculous answer and a bad attitude.
