Wow, I don’t think they’d serve soupy sour cream if I cameinto eat! Both side compartments were full of this nasty stuff. $12.46 for a asada quesadilla that was chewy and tortilla tasted stale. It was really very horrible. Watering down cream doesn’t save $ compared to business they’ll loose. Carlos acted like he didn’t want to be there. My order was ready way too fast to have been freshly made , that would explain why it was rubbery. Didn’t bother to call and complain, don’t think they really care about serving descent food or having repeat customers. How can anybody screw up a quesadilla? Hopefully I don’t get sick from the few bites a tried.

I’ve lived next to this place for a year and a half. I go twice a month easily. They’ve gone downhill and quick. I get the same adobada burrito everytime. In the last 6 months it’s become 2/3 rice and beans incrementally from a burrito full of guac and meat. Today my burrito was full of raw onions, like mouthfuls of raw onion- it was disgusting. I will drive the extra mile and a half to Roberto’s or settle for McDonald’s next door so I never put this garbage in my mouth again. Don’t waste your time or money.

If I were to compare this to any other place then that place would be Roberto’s and sadly enough, Don Tortaco is not the winner. The food truly lacks flavor unless it’s covered in some type of sauce and it’s still missing the mark!. I actually got the opportunity to try more than a few things here because of our group and the various types of meals and single items ordered. I tried the Carne Asada fries and they were covered in way too much refried beans and sour cream, but really not much of anything else. The Carne Asada is completely flavorless!! Tried the cheese enchiladas and they were actually good, except for when the sauce cooled off it started to thicken. Tried some cheese casadilla and chicken casadilla and the ultimate winner was the chicken casadilla because it had something other than cheese on it. The Bean and cheese burrito is exactly what you get but mostly beans and a lot of tortilla. The wait for the food was a lot longer than our appetite because most of it just ended up in the trash. Oh Yeah, Don Tortaco has a mystery ( surcharge ) that they add to every single purchase and nobody has a real honest answer for what it was for!!. Would I recommend eating here, if you’re really, really hungry and nothing else is open, then yes. It looks good, but you can make anything look good!…

Great service! Worderful employees. The food is fantastic. Every time I go in I’m welcomed with polite and kind attitudes of employees that don’t show or give off a feeling that they are unhappy or having a bad day and would rather be somewhere else. I think that is great to have and a very rare quality now adays in people. Also when every I go inside the place is spotless, sparkling clean. If I had to I could eat my food off the floor. I hate using the restroom in public places but if I have to use the restroom at DON TORTACOS it’s like as if I’m at or in my own at my house. Absolutely love this restaurant and highly recommend it to everyone one who likes, loves, or wants to try or experience top-shelf superb Mexican food. Thank you very much to Frank and Giovanni

They need to stop advertising that they are open 24/7 online and on the building! Everytime I have been to this location at a later time, they have been closed! If it’s past 10pm don’t go here.

This place is awesome. I’ve come here several times and always get the same things as now I’m addicted to the carne asada nachos and the chicken tacos. The food is cheap, good and the service is good and quick too. I love the little carrot and jalapeño bar too
