Good and fresh Mexican food!

Tried for the first time, So-Cal raised trying to find the best Mexican food in Madison. I tried the burritos Jalisco and my fiancé had chori-polo. Both were delicious dishes. The only reason I give a 4 star is because the rice and beans in my opinion, had a strange taste to them. But we’re not too bad I couldn’t eat them. Would definitely try again.

This was my first visit to the restaurant in search of good Mexican food. I ordered the Jalisco burrito and my fiance had the chori-polo. The burritos themselves were tasty, with well-seasoned fillings. However, the rice and beans had an unfamiliar flavor that I couldn’t quite identify. They were still edible, but not great. I would give the meal 3.5 stars overall and would consider returning.

The dining room was super clean and colorful..the service was good. They were polite and attentive. The food however was a train wreck. I tried the coconut shrimp and it was so over cooked half couldn’t be chewed. I sat there picking at it in sheer frustration. This was my first time here.. I was so disappointed.

My first dine in experience was pricey, but the tacos were good. For my second and last experi, On Sunday, i i ordered the tacos online, but after a long drive home to have something that i thought would be fresh poolside i was mortified to discover a bowl of what sermed like 1/4 can of distinguisting canned refried beans and half-cooked rice. The burrito resembled upchuck and contained canned mushrooms mixed with slop. I’m embarrassed that i had previously recommended this restaurant to an affluent friend whose family owns and operates a winery. I’m pretending that over $20 fell out of my wallet and it is an unretreuvable loss. I realize i thought that i had ordered tacos, but even a mistake should not make me feel repulsed! I could make fresh food, and Im a homecook!

Fryer oil tasted old an dirty, food was slop. First and last visit here! Avoid the stomach ache, go to compadres right down the road.

Ordered on the phone as the guy said that’s the best way vs online…but they got our order wrong with wrong food…servings are on the smaller side, combo comes with rice & beans… barely any beans and rice was dry…overall disappointed with the experience!

The service is always welcoming, accommodating and respectable. The employees are kind and friendly, which is one of the main reasons that brings me back when I’m in the area. The food is consistently fresh. Cooked and portioned right. You get quite a lot of food for the money. The menu offers a variety of choices.
