We live just 5 minutes away from the Anderson location. We have eaten there more than a dozen + times over a long period of time. A few times our party is 2 and sometimes 5 . We have never had a complaint. The service is excellent. The male waiters are very attentive and quick. The food is always good and tasty. Consistency is there. Quick service, excellent product. The prices are very reasonable and competitive. One if not the best place to eat in Anderson where we have lived for over 45 years. If you want Mexican cuisine this is the place to go in Cincinnati.

Waiter hardly listened when we ordered and messed up our meals and then was impatient when we asked for the right food. Meals are expensive even though the portions are pretty small. Meals also don’t have much flavor at all- you could tell whoever was making it gave bare minimum. Everything took forever too-ordering, waiting for the food, and then the check too. Don Rigo’s was delicious. Been to a lot of Mexican restaurants in the area and surrounding and this is top 3. Their salsa was perfect. Had a nice touch of spice. We had the tacos de carne asada and burrito and enchilada combo. They were both delicious. We also ordered a banana and strawberry margarita. They weren’t as “slushy” as I would’ve liked but they were still nice and strong.

I’ve been to Don Rigo twice once at this location and once in the Amelia location both have excellent wait staff and the food is delicious. Chips and salsa are complimentary and everything was hot and cold as they were supposed to be respectively. Hosts were friendly and eganged with diners as was the norm when checking to see how everything was with the meal.

Food was good. Margaritas needed to be blended better and were ok. Apparently there was a fire in the kitchen that filled the restaurant up with smoke. Unfortunately we were in the back room by the door which the staff propped open for the entire length of our dinner. It was FREEZING! When I asked them if they could open other doors and shut that door so we could at least eat without freezing, they stated other doors were already open. However when we left, the front door was not propped open. At the least, they should have offered to move us or offer a discount given how extremely cold our dining experience was.
