Last week, my daughters and I vacationed at the Hilton Oceanfront Resort to celebrate my birthday. During our stay, we ate at Don Rico’s twice. On both occasions our waiter was Joshua. He is phenomenal at his job, and the epitome of customer service. The first visit I ordered the veggie burger and it was wonderful. My daughters (10 and 8 years old) ordered a cheeseburger and they enjoyed their food. The second visit we all ordered the hot dog meal, which was great because it was a large serving size. Overall we had a wonderful experience, and we look forward to returning in the future. Also I would like to wish Joshua as well as the establishment much success in their future endeavors.

This place is a joke. We ordered $50 steaks and they were atrocious. We were willing to stomach the taste and the server asked how it was and after a few time we finally informed them that the steaks were flavorless. The server was kind enough to inform the manager even though we told her it wasn’t necessary that we’d just eat them as we didn’t want to wait another hour for food. Regardless the manager said it didn’t matter, if we ate some of the steak we’d have to pay for it. For the record we weren’t looking for a discount, just answering a question that was asked. The food was NOT GOOD! Not to mention the service was horrible we couldn’t even get drink refills in a timely manner. Don’t waste your money or time.

Food is delicious! Grilled calamari fries, shrimp tacos and the salmon BLT. So happy with Sheldon who was very chill and so attentive. I wasn’t thrilled with the hostesses aditude when we arrived but it was a Tuesday night at 7 pm so maybe everyone felt tired and not excited to work. There were 5 tables and the two servers were acting overwhelmed…. Weird but still 4 stars!

Really nice atmosphere and exceptional service at the bar, where we sat. The food was very good and the food deliverers moved really quietly. They would just suddenly be putting a plate down in front of you! Would absolutely go there again if staying in Daytona Beach.
