I almost got confused when they moved, I went to the old address and had to find the new location. My GPS always brings me to the old one for now. Anyway sauteed dishes are always delicious and the Aji sauce gives that amazing icing on the cake.

Dined here for the first time. I frequent their original location in Jamesburg and I love it. Let me start off bing completely shock when I walked in. It is trendy, up-beat and lively. I expected classic ambiance like their other location. Very large menu. I had a great pisco sour and Cusqueña beer. Bartender grew up in Lima Peru. Nothing more authentic than that. Bartender was amazing and very skilled. We had roasted chicken, Lomo Saltado and a fried pork belly/sweet potato sandwich. All were great. It’s was nice to see some life in Jamesburg at 9pm on a Thursday. Well done, I’ll be back soon.

The food wasn’t bad but it wasn’t amazing either. The service was one of the worst experiences ever. 40 minutes just to get our drinks and out of the 16 tables there only 5 tables were being used. What will they do if all tables fill up?

Want Peruvian Food? Lima Latin in Sayreville, NJ is a much better option. Had dinner at this new location, Service was horrible and food was not good. I must say that service at the old location was better. There was no sense of urgency and several tables were upset due to the lack of attention. At one point the table next to us had finished eating and they brought out a side of sweet plaintains as they were ready to pay. The lady told the waitress “We already ate why would you bring the side as we are ready to pay”

The bad: Much of the food was flavored and cooked well but there are some serious screw-ups that do not make sense at this price point. The steak was a disappointing cut and plainly medium-well and well-done instead of rare and medium-rare as requested. We waited 5-10 minutes to recieve menus after being seated and at least an additional 10 minutes after that just to get water. Seems it’s an issue with management/the bar because plenty of staff seemed to be waiting around.
