First time visiting. Went on a Sunday. We had to wait about 5 mins. We didn’t mind even though the hostess missed us. Chips n salsa are good. Only thing I thought was weird is that they don’t put cheese on top of the enchiladas. Some of the plates don’t come with rice and beans they charge extra. Overall the food was really good. Service was awesome. Will be going back. Thanks

Not the best I’ve had in San Antonio but I did enjoy my meal. The place was packed for a Wednesday evening. Even with the crowds my service was attentive and efficient. The salsa was very good with a little kick. I had 1/2 order of ranchero nachos which again…not the best I’ve had, but got the job done. My main dish was grilled chicken breast with avocado salad. The chicken was a little dry but seasoned well. Don Pedro is a good option for this side of town, I just wouldn’t go out of the way for it.

Great food and drinks. Everything we had was worth the wait… fresh chips and spicy red salsa was delicious. Large group of 15, seated fast with no issues.

Great place, as you enter you feel welcomed. Saturday they had breakfast buffet and music. Coffee was hot and not watered down. The food was delicious and fresh. Service was great and fast. Definitely will be returning.

The food is not good. It was horrible. I was very dissatisfied. It’s a popular spot. But I can’t eat here again. Try Nichas down the street. It’s a lot better than this trash. The service was great! Loved the atmosphere. Did I mention the food sucked? I left most of it on the plate.

We’ve been going to Don Pedro’s for years. It’s been pretty consistent throughout. The food is really good as well as the portions vs the price. It is a popular place so be prepared to wait during peak times. The service and staff are excellent. Usually parking isn’t an issue either. The only downsides are it can get abnormally loud inside – so much that you can strain to have a normal conversation. Also, for whatever reason you will leave with your clothes smelling like food. Every time.

I had the lunch carne guisada plate. For $10.89 the price is great. Lots of carne and rice. I paid .59 cents more to substitute borracho beans. This place is still a stapel of the Southside. ❤️

Waited over an hour they sat us next to 2 large parties whom were very loud. We couldn’t talk to each other. They sat other elder people in the same room. After all of that I couldn’t even finish eating my food. Personally a waist of my time.
