I absolutely love this place. It reminds me so much of growing up in inner Houston and eating at the taco places down the street. The food is reasonably priced and delicious. The servings are more than filling and the people are just so sweet. The only downside is that the music is just too loud for any conversation but that’s it.

Oysters were room temperature! No horseradish sause available, just fyi. Saltine crackers were on the cusp of stale. Michalada doesn’t come close to stacking up to the best of them out there. The seafood empanadas are okay. The rice was dry. The cheese was fake. Quacamole leaves a lot to be desired. Shrimp brochette is not bad, but not great. They literally put machine separated chicken nuggets on the Don Chente appetizer – seriously? The gals were great!

The item I always come in for is the Birria cheese tacos. This review is based on me ordering this item the past 4 times I’ve come here. Order comes with 3 tacos and they put plenty of beef in there. Their salsa is also spicy and good. If you haven’t tried birria cheese tacos this is the spot to try them at!

Food here is outstanding. Hard to order if you don’t speak Spanish, bc they have to find someone for you. But the 2 tvs with 2 different radio stations is THE WORST. They blast both in a single room without separation and one of them is broadcast over the p.a. system, so you end up with a headache from the cacophony of pure noise. I power thru it though, bc the birria tacos are the best.

We are very unsatisfied with communication here. We went for drinks and food yesterday, at some point they refused one of our members more alcohol, which he was on his 3rd beer. They told us that they cant legally sell you more than 3 beers at a time. Which I understand, we don’t know how true this is. But the issue was that they did not communicate that with us before hand. As this was after our member had already bought $100+ on beer at the bar, for himself and other people. We spent a lot of money there, we asked for the manager as we were told that they were the one that told the waitress to stop serving us. The manager never came out. We still left a big tip just because we were upset and we did argue for a while with the waitress. However, we have seen in this restaurant and the one on Villa Maria, where people consume more than 3 beers in one sitting. So we don’t understand why we would be refused service.

My first time there. I ordered at the drive thru window. The young lady was friendly. I ordered the beef fajita taco salad. I planned on eating half of it. I ended up eating it all. It was delicious. I’ll be going back.❤️

I had their beef taco plate with rice, beans and queso. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS. I don’t live anywhere near Bryan but if I drive through again I will definitely be stopping in for some great food.

I did not want to have to write a review. I called and spoke to “Walter” who said he was the manager on duty. I informed him that we purchased multiple items and that I Jim Sloan, had their Shrimp Cocktail and two Shrimp Tacos. I informed him I got violently ill and wanted to inform them so they could check their shrimp and cocktail sauce.

Omg this was amazing! These Quesabirria tacos are heavenly! If you haven’t tried these get ready for pure taco bliss! I also ate Carne Asada fries and a Beef Burrito, both were fantastic. The sauces both Red and Green were both delicious also. I highly recommend you try this place for lunch or dinner. There are two locations in Bryan. I just ate at # 2. Unless your idea of Mexican food is Taco Bell, you will love this place and appreciate it for what it is. Order the Quesabirria tacos and you will clearly understand what I’m talking about. Straight out of my abuelita’s kitchen!
