I am so glad I found this gem! Andrea and the gentleman greeted us as soon as we walked in. Andrea understood the assignment! She offered us samples because I wasn’t familiar with the different meats. She was so sweet. I ordered different items from quesadillas to mini tacos and some chicken. Everything was sooo good. I will definitely be coming back and telling my family who is a local to start coming. Overall great experience.

the place is far, I hope one day they have a place closer to the main areas of Brownsville. The food is very good, I loved the fajita tacos. maybe they should have a place with more than one bathroom since having only one in a very busy place can be problematic. On the other hand, the bathroom needs some remodeling, it doesn’t look like a restaurant bathroom.

Quaint little place with extremely great tasting food and service. I was not disappointed with their selection of salsa. Most places cower at the thought of making something with some serious kick. Very attentive staff.

Food was awful. Bought a 20 taco charola, but tacos were cold, stale tortillas, incomplete order. No grill onions, no chiles torreados, no pico de gallo. When we called to let them know about the incomplete order, the woman kinda laughed it off, and stated, ” but I gave you some cilantro in your order”. I was so discusted with the service, I didn’t even take a picture of the sad charola provided. Imagine showing up with a taco charola and end up being major disappointment for the person who was being surprised by it. Well mission accomplished don carbon, you sure surprised us all with your POUR QUALITY of food and customer service over the phone call.

Our food(tacos) were very spicy hot. Told waitress she stated that I must have put salsa not it. Told cashier. Checked with cook in effect chilli peppers had gotten mixed with the taco meat. End of story. Paid n left. Not going back. No apologies. No let me fix this. Prices were a bit high.

Asked the young lady taking my order if the full menu was available as it was 11:30. She said yes, so I tried to order a Papa Asada. She had to go check. She said they weren’t available and it would take about 20 min. So I ordered a Pirata. This pirata comes out with very dry meat and the tortilla had been on the comal for way too long and it was crunchy. I could barley see the cheese in the pirata. That main dish was hard to get over. The salsa bar was nice and cute,y wife really liked it! The frijoles charros had a bunch of hot dog and cueritos but hardly any beans, but the broth was really good, coulda just used some more beans. The aguas frescas tastes like they were made with tap water. Finally halfway through I asked if I could get a Papa Asada to go, as it had been about 30 min. She said she’d check and once again the Papas weren’t ready.

Zero stars if I could… We ended up paying almost $60 for 2 people and a child (tacos we’re suppose to be $1 according to fb that day) ended up paying $1.89 or so for FOR EACH. $1.25 for aguacate and $1.25 for cheese which was not even mentioned by the waitress…
