Delicious and fresh sushi! Everything about this place was amazing; from the service to the presentation to all the dishes we tried. I loved the hand rolls; the spicy tuna was some of the best I’ve had. My favorite dish was pork belly. The pork belly was perfectly crispy and the combination of flavors was delicious; I’m still thinking about it. The price is well worth the quality grade sushi and experience!

The food here is incredible. We had the sushi and hand roll course. All of the sushi was fresh and was plated nicely. I highly recommend the spicy crab hand roll. We also had the garlic bacon rice which was packed with flavor. Service was a bit slow and we often had empty glasses of water waiting for a refill. There is paid parking right across from the restaurant.

Not a regular in jersey city but really enjoyed the lunch I had here. Brunch specials are good value, food is presented nicely and tastes good, and service is great too! I would just say that the outdoor seating feels basically indoor so was a bit confused about that, but no big deal.

It kind of feels like too fast of service. I like to take my time and enjoy the atmosphere and have the food come out in separate courses. Most places don’t bring out your sushi until you are done with your soup. I felt a bit rushed. But the food was nicely presented and very fresh. Maybe I would give it another try.

This place was amazing. We had some of the best Sushi we’ve ever had. The hand rolls were not what we expected, given they are 1-2 bites each. That being said, they were amazing and filling! I was only able to get one picture in before we were too busy tearing up from how amazing all the food was. I would definitely recommend this place and the Sake Baby is a great combo.

It’s good but not great. I expect more than this for the price I paid. The Oyster dish is very fusion but you can’t taste the oyster at all since other sauces more heavy on it. The cod and pumpkin is good. Sushi have a good quality but they put a lot of wasabi on every pieces even with the lean fish ( a part that have no fat).And soba is way to salty.

We were craving sushi and the place delivered. We got 4 orders of the nigiri that comes with 2 pieces of sushi and honestly at $12-14 an order, it’s a great value since you are getting 2 pieces of amazing fresh fish sushi. Heads up though, all the nigiri dishes have wasabi in them but not too overwhelming and it definitely adds flavor to the sushi. If you are ordering hot dishes, make sure to order them first since they take time to get to your table. The dishes came in really fast. The hand rolls are pricey but they are big, also it’s only 1 piece but don’t order too many because it’s an equivalent to about 2-3 sushi bites. Service was excellent and it’s definitely a must try if you are in Jersey City.

DOMODOMO does exceptional sushi. The actual sushi dishes are delicious, filling, and fresh. I considered a (4) only because I felt the other dishes weren’t strong — particularly the dessert I had. The black sesame panna cotta lacked flavor and I think the black sesame should have been incorporated into the panna cotta instead of poured on top. Fortunately this is a sushi place, and they are great at that.
