Chef Jiro is a master of his craft. We were awed by each dish put in front of us. The quality of the food as well as the thoughtful, complex flavor combinations put the meal over the top. We even felt that it was one of the best meals we have ever eaten (and we are not really “”sushi people””). We enjoyed the intimate nature of the dinner and Chef Jiro and his wife’s company. And yes, while the food court is a bit confusing for high-end sushi, it adds to the experience as the food & chef stand on their own to provide a 5-star experience. Truly omakase to remember. Out of this world! Thank you!

Really creative delicious omakese. The chef is clearly talented. However it’s good to be aware this is in a busy food court in Chinatown and you sit at the one of the four seats of a counter of one of the stalls. It’s an interesting juxtaposition to have sushi with caviar, gold leaf, and truffles in a food court. Food is delicious but the photos make it look like a more traditional restaurant which it is not. Good for experimental sushi not the best choice for a slow fancy sit down dinner. It’s also byob.

Amazing find! It’s the best Omakase I’ve ever had. The chef and his wife were wonderful, and the food is absolutely delicious! If you’re looking for a relaxing, fancy ambience, don’t come here. This is a delicious, no frills place. It’s literally in the middle of a food court in Chinatown. Highly recommend. Will be back

The omakase at Domo Sushi is an amazing adventure. Surrender to Master Chef and artist Jiro and you will not be disappointed. The quality of ingredients is the highest and the combination of flavors imaginative. The result is a moment of pure deliciousness. It is hard to pick a favorite dish because all were exceptional, but I will return to narrow it down.

I’ll start off by saying how wonderful the couples were, while serving us.

Been to Domo Sushi three times for their omakase since their opening and loved it every time. Their ingredients are fresh and the combination of each piece is very original. Chef Jiro have Japanese, Italian, French, and probably other culinary experiences that makes the omakase experience unlike any others. If you don’t mind a noisy food court background, this is a must go. Call in advance to reserve your spot!

Domo Sushi was a gem to find. Don’t let the food court dissuade you from tasting one of the best omakases I’ve ever had. Chef Jiro and his wife were so welcoming and kind.

This was hands down the best Omalaise I have had in Manhattan at a VERY reasonable price point. This intimate spot felt like a family dinner – Jiro and his wife are so lovely, we felt so comfortable and taken care of. Best meal I’ve had in ages! The rolls are also amazing and very well priced!
