Ordered 2 Medium pizzas and a pasta dish. Food showed up at 7:35 when our driver left with many orders at 7:00. I have several temp gauges at my house since I am in the food industry. When it takes 35 minutes to deliver a pizza even in a warming bag you can probably guess what happens to a pizza. Not the best look over here on the Honey Creek Bridge side of town when your competition is almost done building. Look at our history, we order frequently out of convenience. Usually it’s moderately decent. I specifically didn’t order a bread bowl this time because the last 4 or 5 times ordering those they have been horribly wrong. There’s a reason this place is sub 4 star. Got 4 things that were absolutely awfully prepared, all in one order. The pizza was cut horribly, there was hardly any powder on the lava cakes, sandwich was cut bad, all in one order. I’ve had to call this place in the past and usually have had it solved but this time he says “I’ll refund it” then hangs up on me. Heck of a manager.

We promptly received our pizza burned to a crisp with cold (uncooked) bell peppers, and lovingly cut into both triangles AND squares! Plus, look closely at the little love left in the center – we think it’s the toppings that had fallen off to then be scooped up and placed ceremoniously in a small dog pile.

I work in Grove so I’ve gotten pizza at least 10 times (single guy) in the last 6 weeks and for the most part it’s been a great experience. Pizzas are hit and miss with some being leagues above others however that’s what makes this tasty pizza lottery just a little bit more interesting I must confess. When ya do finally get that perfect pizza exactly as you orderd and then some (I’m talking like a whole next level pizza experience maybe even like one of the top ten best pizzas of your entire life) only then it makes the others that disappointed ya a little bit before just fade away and quickly disappear from the pizza equation. I’d definitely recommend trying your own luck ordering your very own delicious piping hot pizza from Grove domino’s friendly smiling staff because it just might be one of those top 10 best pizzas I mentioned earlier that you may be served. Placed an order for delivery. When I got my spinach and feta cheese bread it didn’t have 1 piece of spinach on it. Tried to call the store. Rang busy for the longest time. Loaded my kids in the car and drove all the way there. The older guy with glasses that I’m assuming is the cook was so rude and hateful that I was scared for him to cook me another one for fear that he would spit on it. I asked for my money back and the delivery charge since I had to come back to the store. They refused. They really need to get nicer people to work at this location. It wasn’t my fault they made it wrong and forgot the main ingredient. Will NOT be ordering from them again and I hope the older guy with glasses loses his job. You should NOT act the way he did in-front of customers.

After almost a dozen deliveries to the pad since my last review I left (which wasn’t the greatest review ever!) However it was true at the time, but I’m not all about leaving not-so-good reviews! So today is your independence dominoes I dub thee 5 stars!!! Keep up the good quality work and I’ll keep eating pizza. Whatever has changed over there in the last 4 months it’s a workin!!
