I ordered a specialty pizza online to pickup. I received a text stating pizza in oven ready in 8 to 10 minutes. I got there pizza not ready, paid for it and was asked to pull over out of drive thru line.. I waited awhile then pulled back up to window. One person looked, couldn’t find my order , then another man came to the window, looked at a screen , left and came back with my order. The pizza was warm. He didn’t offer an explanation or apologize for the delay. I received the text at 12:14 and finally received the pizza at 12:50.

Would give it a higher rating but the big corporate part of Domino’s has officially contracted out your pizza phone order to call centers In India. You try giving instructions to a delivery location that doesn’t fit the website address format to some person in India who has never so much stepped foot in the united states. It’s difficult. Kudos to them for actually getting the pizza to me despite the communication issues and subsequent delay. Still not a smart business decision on Domino’s part, Papa John’s is suddenly infinitely more popular on my military base than it used to be, in part because they take their orders locally.

I called to order pizza and after they confirmed that they deliver to base and took my order for a pizza, they decided that they could not deliver 2.2 miles to navy base. I see their cars on base daily, but maybe since it was after 9pm they wouldn’t deliver anymore?? Not a huge problem, but consistency is important. Communicating is important.
