In the past year living here, we maybe have gotten pizza on time less than 5 times… tonight we waited an hour, called (after being on hold for some time and being hung up on the first time) and was told it would be an additional hour for delivery or 15min for pickup. Switched to pickup and after 40 min it still was not ready. Now at two hours since ordering and can just watch them ignore the phone.

Ordered online and it sent my order to this location. They cancelled my order after an hour and 15 minutes with no explanation. When I called they asked me to hold and after 10 minutes they got back to me and said they would get a manager to speak to. After another 5 minutes the phone is picked up and it’s the same dude asking me if I’m ordering pickup or delivery. If you cant make my order just cancel it early but after almost 90 minutes is just terrible. I called another location and they already knew what went location I had that experience with when I told them what happened.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. I had the worst experience with a take out order that I’ve ever had. I placed the order sitting in front of the restaurant and it immediately asked me to check in once I arrived. I got the message that said the order would be ready between 1632 and 1642. Well at 1657 I entered the restaurant to inquire about why the order wasn’t ready. The man working (two other female employees in the restaurant) had an extremely bad attitude and said I hadn’t checked in on the app because his screen didn’t show it. When I showed him that I had checked in and the time it said the food would be ready then he made excuses and said it would be ready in like 3 mins. I said I was just asking a question as to why it wasn’t ready when the app clearly had a time that it would be ready. I had to go to work and would be late if it wasn’t ready. He kept talking about all the pizzas he had to make and he was doing so by himself. He stood there and continued to argue so I simply told him to go make his pizzas while I waited for mine. He got mad and canceled my order. So now I waited for 40 mins with no food before work. This is a horrible place to try and get food and the attitude of the employee was horrible as well. If I remember correctly from the app I think his name was Dewayne. But if not, he was a taller black male with gray in his beard. AVOID THIS PLACE. IF I could rank zero stars I would.

I have ordered a few times and each time has been awful. They say delivery time will be 35 to 45 minutes but today was my quickest delivery at 1.5 hours. They will cook the food and then let it sit out for 30 minutes or more before a driver gets to it. Then half the time the delivery itself can take up to 45 minutes. I’m not sure if they have a shortage on sauce or not but you can’t tell that there is any on the pizza (if they actually put it on).

Went to Dominos 3 different times trying to get what I want and the people on new bern can’t seem to listen to what the customer is asking for paid 40 bucks and still can’t seem to get what I paid 40 bucks for!!!

Three different occasions I had to call to ask where my delivery was. On all three the driver was just walking out with my food right at that exact moment. It sounds like the driver is just hanging out and not doing anything until an angry customer calls. I never get the contactless delivery that I choose and they always ring the doorbell even though I ask them not to.

This location is the absolute worst. Every couple of weeks they have new management an they get ruder by the order. I have always order from the newbern ave location for 5years now an John is the most rude person I have ever meet there. I have contacted corporate a few times an they placed a note to put my toppings under the cheese an he refused every time an was very disrespectful when doing so. They place looks a mess on the inside foods always cold or wrong if delivered an they say they can do as they please due to them being a franchise which is not ok THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN.

The service is absolutely horrible. I placed an order for pick up and when I got there at the pickup time they hadn’t even started making my order and the guy who was making the pizzas said the time on the pickup screen doesn’t start until the pizza goes in the oven, which defeats the purpose of having a pickup time and is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. It took over an hour after I arrived for me to get my order and I felt like the cook was trying to be petty by moving slower and doodling around because he knew I was waiting.

Online delivery never works smh. While I understand it’s likely difficult to find delivery drivers, you could easily partner with a delivery service like Papa John’s (even though I’m not a fan of them) does with doordash. You can still order from Papa Johns app and the order is delivered through doordash.
