Classic deli, great service and delicious sandwiches. It was really busy, but didn’t take long to get our order. We just wanted a regular delicious sandwich that wasn’t $15 or on bread that will tear the roof of your mouth up and this place overdelivered. My go to place for sure ! Moms and the sons are always wonderful to me ! Food is always made fresh they always have my order correct and I’m picky as hell the picky king ! I don’t want no vegetables and they understand it and when I order for another and I don’t sound sure they still have me and give me time , that’s good ole fashion customer service . I might be a regular kind of person but I know what’s good and if it’s good to me it will be good to others because y’all like all them vegetables lol but I recommend this for sure lunch hell I’ll do breakfast if I could get it to where I work now !

We ordered a liverwurst on sliced wheat with everything and a pastrami sandwich. Known as the best deli in Alameda, this place remains a local institution. Nothing fancy. Attentive staff and sandwiches made the old school way. Don’t even think about asking for kale.

Good sandwiches at good prices. Highly recommend. I had cold lamb. It was tasty. I’ll get double meat, no mustard, no cut next time. Even Dijon overpowered the lamb a bit.

Best. Deli. Ever. The staff are super helpful and friendly. I went in there needing to order for three people but not knowing what any us wanted. The staff guided me through all the options and gave me some great suggestions. I left with three of the best sandwiches imaginable. The hot lamb sandwich was out of this world!
