Really happy with the food here and ambience! Service is a bit strange, and the food comes out slow, but it’s worth it. I loved their mole and it’s probably my fave one I’ve had outside Mexico. Sweet and chocolatey! Tacos were great as well.

A no-fuss dinner with some unexpected tastes and an interesting take on Mexican cuisine. That being said, nothing is worth making a special trip. The service is very warm, but also very slow.

Lovely spot, beautiful art work. The food was delicious. We tried the cactus salad, it was different in a pleasant way! We asked for more jalapeños and we’re brought a side dish of them which lasted through our entrees. The cactus which has a slimy consistency was on the salty side which I liked. I had the Suiza, 3 chicken enchiladas smothered in a green sauce. There was only chicken in the tortillas. They were good, but thought adding some slivers of jalapeños, tomatoes and maybe some of the onions from the cactus salad would’ve made these enchiladas- so much better. The chicken wasn’t super flavorful, it wasn’t bland but maybe that was because of the green sauce. The Mole Poblano that was served with beans, tortillas and rice was good. We agreed the refried beans were delicious, great flavor. They looked like black beans. The mole which I only tried, was eaten up and described to me as “really good.” Mole is not my thing, but they had a few dishes with various mole sauces. The bartender who we spoke with as we were leaving was super friendly! Might consider sitting at the bar next time, it’s away from main dining area. We were initially seated near the kitchen away from all the diners, so we asked for another table, there were plenty. We had a reservation so we were not sure why we were sat away from the rest of the diners/action. The restaurant filled up but not completely so there were plenty of tables, including a couple of cozy tables for 4 that offer a little privacy.

The food, atmosphere, and drinks are phenomenal. Emphasis on the drinks especially. All the drinks are done with non US common tequila, so don’t expect to order Casamigos. Trust the process and their recommendations.

Spectacular! Wow. Delicious authentic Mexican food. Tremendous staff and friendly environment. Great location with plenty of street parking. Best Margarita I ever had as well as other unique cocktails. You won’t be disappointed.

Eaten here twice. Great food both times. Can’t say the same about the service. Second time here we waited 40 mins for two drinks. Ordered another round which never showed up. Waitress checked in maybe once. Way too expensive for this level of slow service.

Vegetarians/vegans be warned, this place is not very friendly! No full dish listed on their menu is vegan it seems, and the veggie tacos they offer aren’t listed. They are also super slow (over an hour for 6 dishes, 4 of which were 2 tacos).

Charming spot, sweet decor. Great food. Very noisy – the only downside was that it was a little hard for 2 of us (older ears) to hear each other across a 2-seater table. Server was very helpful with her recommendations. Limited wine list by the glass though Pinot Noir selection was quite good. We sampled everything we had room for!

I think only people who are unfamiliar with Mexican food in general and Oaxacan food in particular would enjoy this. Not to mention extremely slow inattentive service.
