This place is lit. 1st eating this fried chicken and fish. BBQ bake beans, Mac and cheese, Its very yummy. Mac and cheese is out of this world. Good portion size, a combo can feed a couple. Definitely when in Fresno again, would like to come back.

Stumbled on this African American owned restaurant as we were headed to the donut shop, pleasant detour. Reviewed the menu and decided on the 4pc meal to share since neither my husband nor I was too hungry. The wait was not too long, as we decided to dine in. The food was delicious and enough for both of us. I would recommend highly.

got a fish dinner with mac n cheese and fries, 3 pieces fried chicken plate with mac n cheese and a strawberry pie and peach cobbler. Everything was delicious, and fresh, and the portions were big. These plates were supposed to be for my kids but I kept picking off their plates cause it was that good!

If you need some good, fresh food that won’t disappoint, you need to stop by and try Dolls Kitchen. There is a bit of a wait time, but be patient because it’s worth it. I ordered the spicy fried chicken with double mac twice, and it did not disappoint. My partner in crime had smothered chicken and rice with the same result: hot, fresh, and full of the flavors of home.

3 piece chicken dinner – nice portion sizes, looks/smells delicious, and served hot. However, the chicken had your basic salt/pepper seasonings leaving a bland taste and slightly undercooked. Greens/cabbage mixture with smoked turkey made the batch flavorful, but seemed a little undercooked as they were not tender. I guess it’s all preference. Yams had too much white sugar in my opinion, but were edible. Beautiful staff, pleasant atmosphere, but this was a one and done for me.

Me and my fiancee had fried chicken. We really loved the chicken it was crispy on the outside and so juicy on the inside. The only issue we had was that it took almost 45 min to get our good. But l have to admit it was a little busy. I would go back again during non busy times. The food was good and to me that all that matters.

If you ever wanted to feel like and Movie Star or even be on the set of a movie, just show up at this spot and you will feel just like your on the set of a movie called “The Trap”. The service here is horrible, it’s like everyone just got out of prison and haven’t dealt with the general public in years. Now don’t get me wrong, the food is decent and Ms. Doll is just that, a doll, super nice and a very caring lady. But, that staff, she needs to fire all of them or send them to etiquette school or hire one of those crazy chefs on T.V to come in there and start kicking azzzzzzzz. I wish Ms. Doll the best and I hope that her restaurant thrives but she’s got to do something about her staff before she gets my dead presidents again.

There’s a bit of a wait time, however it’s worth the wait. Arrived during the lunch hour, and there was a steady flow of customers arriving. Food was excellent. The owner was out and about and stopped at our table and asked what we ordered, etc. She was very approachable and friendly. The staff member taking our order was awesome. Would I return? Absolutely
