Here is another little place with friendly employees offering great service. This is also a great place to go for some excellent fried chicken as well as other quick and easy hot foods for the road. They have a slushy machine with the most popular flavors available, which is definitely a plus for me. There is even a little dining area for those looking for a break from the road. The restrooms are well maintained and always clean. Dodge’s reminds me of a little truck stop we used to have out in Kingsburg, CA back when I was just knee-high to a grasshopper.

Dodge’s is a staple in the Clarksville community. Their gas prices are usually the lowest in town. Since they’re open 24 hours, Dodge’s is a go-to for the employees of the local Tyson plant located across the street. My husband and I had many a “date” there hopping over during breaks to get pizza sticks and burritos (which have cheese in them! YUM!!) This place is more than just a convenience store, it is a Clarksville institution.

The food was not very good at all! I love Dodge’s food but this location(the only one anywhere around this area) just gives them a bad rep for someone who has never experienced the real deal.
