I dunno what happened, maybe they were smokin some funny pipes. First time I ordered , food was great. Rib plate, sauce on side, and 2 entrees. This order, what was delivered (gh, great delivery) was broken pieces of ribs drenched in red goop ! Red bean and rice looked like last minute dump rice, then drop beans on top. Very sloppy job. Pre ordered this in morn for night shift meal. VERY DISAPPOINTED !!! Btw, my plastic bowl , thats the red beans and rice, in case you couldnt recognize it. When my order was late, I tried to call them but line is constantly busy, so all I could do is hope gh found a driver. The gh app wasnt showing me progress. Luckily the driver found me. Lastly, I ordered the LINK SANDWICH. My first order , it was a link split in half with some seasoning. What I got this time as you can see, is a hot dog bun with a hot link in it. Again, looks like last minute throw it together box it and send it off. Sorry guys, you lost a customer.

Been here twice and my food was late over an hour past the given pick up time both times I went. Didn’t have Mac and Cheese both times either. And the second time they didn’t even let me know they didn’t have Mac and cheese they just slipped in bbq beans as a substitute without asking me. Always Fail to mention that the brisket is never ready until 3-6 hours after they open. Don’t get me wrong the food tastes amazing but if I want to eat here I have to be okay with waiting two hours for it to be ready and them not having half of what I ordered and not letting me know until the very end after waiting over an hour in the restaurant.

Oooweeee! When Doc says he is best in town, he ain’t lying. I’ve had multiple BBQ in modesto and Docs is one of the best! The fish ….. oh my gah, juicy and crunchy!!!! The MAC is fireee. I recommend getting a sauce above mild for an extra kick!

I ordered a 2 meat plate w greens and Mac n cheese. This used to be my favorite places that I told everyone about until I had this plate delivered to me at work. After I ate most my greens looking at every bite my last bite in the bottom with all the juices had a black glossy fly stuck to the bottom of the greens sumorged in juice. I immediately lost my appetite. My co worker did witness this and upon calling the shop asap I was told by a female worker that Doc would give me a call and I never got that as well as I was promised a refund and a week later still have not got that but I was charged. I would like my refund and returned call as that is ridiculous customer service and absolutely disgusting quality with a fly during these COVID times

A barbecue place with no ribs, need I say more? Actually, the flavor was decent. Something about that sauce, it had a pineapple hint to it. Was really good. I’ll stop by again one day and see if I can catch them with ribs. Pulled pork was ok. A little more sauce would’ve pushed the rating up. Having good ribs would’ve pused them to 5 for sure. The flavor of the sauce is worth a visit.
